I have been doing research on my greenhouse inflation blower that is a single pole induction 1/100th horsepower. I have thought for years that squirrel cage meant the wheel...ha ha. It was good for me to hear these motors are very specific. I hate to buy another motor if I can fix this one. So much to know. Thanks.
There is negative static pressure on the inlet side of the blower and positive static pressure on the outlet side of the blower. The total static pressure can be identified by changing the negative to a positive on the inlet side and adding to the outlet static.
