Love your videos of the Boone and Blowing Rock NC area. We will be up there from Florida next week, hopefully for the fall foliage. Any tips on parking in Blowing Rock for first timers? Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to visit the area and check out dining and stores.
Hi Todd and Connie! Blowing Rock, NC is a happening place. I'm sure thousands of people have joked around with that town's name, but I digress. Those odd looking pumpkins are probably from your personal collection of bizarre props and disguises. Mellow Mushroom pizza is always something to come back to. It is delicious. I like that wallet you were going to buy, Todd. That Christmas shop is awesome! They have some really nice things in there. I never knew you could see a skeleton with a huge pumpkin head raking leaves as you drive down the parkway. Those trees produced some magnificent fall colors. This was an enjoyable video!
@RDTravels843 Make sure to visit the actual Blowing Rock. Also, check out Tweetsie Railroad, the first theme park in North Carolina. As far as places to stay in Blowing Rock, to be honest, all of them are fantastic and are within walking distance from town. Most of the places are actually in town.
Speckled Trout, Bistro Roca, Storie Street Grille to name a few. The Ice Skating rink might be at the Appalachian Ski Resort that is just down the road going towards Boone. 🙂
