Ooh, that was a bit of my childhood right there. One classic yacht kept a horn to locate his crew around various beaches, so the tender driver could echo-locate them from a good 'OiH' back.
All the hounds I've met were so friendly and happy. We had a pony who would go mad everytime he heard the horn like in this video . He absolutely loved hunting. I was never that keen as my horse liked to be in front which is not allowed. I did like the hounds a lot and enjoyed some ponyclub hunts. Drag hunting is fun but hounds do naturally kill animals I suppose as do a lot of pets. It's a bit mean on the hounds not to let them out. They are huge and very well trained and are not suited to living in the house with people as well as outside all together where they are happy. They eat a lot and eat a different diet to pet dogs They are so sweet natured out hunting and foxes and hares are so fast the hounds don't catch much from my experience. Hunting is nature. Liking animals is nature too. Animals can be naturally kind and friendly and also they can be quite aggressive or they won't go near predators so it's a cross between the two you should be kind to nature and animals, look after them and also stop them getting out of control and causing too much trouble. Hunting is in nature and in our nature . Even hunting for wild berries is still the same. Looking after nature is allowing animals to also have their bit of earth because often people get it wrong. Hunting isn't usually that barbaric apart from some of the huge jumps
We do do it ourselves - why make it more difficult than it needs to be. We've had centuries to find what works best and a pack of hounds is the answer. In using our ingenuity and utilising what dogs are instinctively best at IS doing it ourselves.

Can't stand antis who come out and upset the hounds! Hunting is a noble tradition that has stood the test of time and has been around for over 400 years! And my family are a huge hunting family and we will carry on hunting! Repeal the ban! Ironically one of Tony Blairs biggest regret was the ban on hunting! So I say on behalf of those who want to keep britains rural traditions: KEEP HUNTING KEEP FIGHTING! Tally ho over!

Not strictly true about your comments with regards to the wanker Blair. It was not that he regretted the 2004 hunting act,it was infact the time he spent trying to pass the act that he actually regretted. I love this video it's helped me learn the horn,which i now use to disrupt the local hunt,that my group sabs🙂👍

Haha, you don't like it when hunters are 'toffs' but nor when they are 'common' working men like this chap. Antis, you need to stop forming conclusions on your computers and come out with a hunt. See for yourselves how much of this duty comes down to 'ego' when working in the field.
Oh and I suppose if he were better spoken you'd be saying he was too 'posh' for your tastes. That is exactly why our signs say FIGHT PREJUDICE. The class system barely exists any more, you are clutching at straws to hate another human being for, frankly, knowing the countryside better than you do.
