It's been a while since Al's Big Block Crown has been out on the road so we headed down to the road trip drag challenge at Willobank raceway and raced the crown down the 1/8th mile.

Back in the day ("the day" being late 90's) I had a low 13 car and it was considered "quick". Todays fast cars are on another level, can't even imagine what it must be like to launch in a car that'll do sub 10!

Really love the Crown build. Such a cool car. Mechanically it seems to be working fantastically, but the rear suspension still needs work to keep it from squatting so much on the right side. No big deal, there's always refinements to be made in a custom hot rod. It's part of the journey. 🙂

Awesome vlog and whip boys, bravo! Obvious that a lot of other cars had take-off and traction issues, maybe track prep issue (I know it happens). Just noticed how much driver angle you had going down the strip. Watched the 4link video earlier before commenting and noticed you decided not to fit a rear pan-hard bar. For the street, probably negligible impact, but maybe for strip with the big block torque on hand, it could help level out the rear. Just an idea. Otherwise, rock on with beast Crown - keep rippin 👍🏻

Nice one! In regards to the wheel spin with radials did you put more pressure in the tyres to stop them from hopping? If they run to low tyre pressure they will spin.
