The beauty of drag-and-drive events is that there's no one way to do it. Everyone has a different goal, focus and vehicle they're bringing to the table. Jason Schaefer and his 1929 Ford hot rod with a 454 big block Chevy engine is a perfect example. He's having fun and keeping the spirit of original hot rodding alive and well. Check out his set up!

ThankYou EB Magazine!!! Your crew was awesome and you are ALL doing an incredible job keeping our gearhead hobbies alive and well. My second pass was a 10.43 at 132 MPH. That was 93 octane, through the mufflers at leisurely 5800 RPM. It was a bit too fast for my tech so i eased off until i get a full cage😉 After that I turned it back down Im gonna share the heck outta this video! 😎👍

Jason gave me a ride in the Chicken Coupe a few years back. I became weightless as he mashed the accelerator. Thank God I was strapped in. Angel is an Angel, and Jason is a gentlebeast. Love ya, man!

Now that's my kind of hot rod! Looks great, runs fast, and the best part is you don't have to spend a $100,000. Am disappointed that I didn't get to hear that beauty running.

Just do it! Keep the boost reasonable, the fuel safe and the total timing low… life is short, dont be afraid to break a few parts😎👍

Nice Bud. I have a '30 Coupe which my father bought as just a body and frame & we built my car from '92-'99. Drove it to Viva Las Vegas in March of '05... .still got her today.

I build my own blower motor. It's just a small block but makes enough power for high 10's at 3750lbs. Check it out on my RU-vid channel.
