Hi. I ordered similar unit from China, and found out later that the unit is not compatible with CAN bus systems and has to connevted wire by wire. So the question is that how to I get the info from original ICU to the screen of new head unit and is it even possible? Thanks in advance
Navi Auto Start Manual states to break ACC at the map interface, to do this pull the key. Contacted Bluepower and was told the same way you break ACC on the OEM unit. Can anyone shed any light as to what break ACC means?
Brilliant video! Ive got a 2004 T5 so no aux and I have to rely on a useless Parrot. Having used it, how have you found the unit for reliability etc? Is it worth the cost?

If i allready have the car equipped with navigation can i use the original car navigation antena? Or do i have to install the one that came in the kit?
If you can find the original antenna connection, it may be compatible with the BLP. You will have to check, otherwise you have to use the one supplied with BLP.
Impressive. All though i would like It even more with an even more streamlined theme (and the transition from VOLVO osd looks awfull). I'm watching this because I would like a DAB+ compatible system in my car since the FM is being killed over here. Is the optional DAB feature good? Thumbs up:)
Hi! Quick question. At 5:02 we see the back of the CD unit and on the right side we have a plug with two orange cables. Where did you connect this with the new setup? Or is it just disconnected?
Hello, I am setting up a 2din autoradio, I have already made all the connections except the loudspeakers because I cannot find the speakers arrival plug next to the center console. Thank you
@@larskrieg7640 watch from @5:30 onwards and @8:59. There are several connections. Check all plugs are in properly and secure. Make sure everything is connected correct to the waterfall dash also.
Thanks for the video. I have an 05 s40 with the premium audio system. When I opened the box, I do not have any sort of antenna cable. I also do not have any instructions. I am a loss on how to install this. I heard the installation for the s40 did not require the removal of the cd player.. Can anyone comment on this and help me out?

I'm going to be installing this tomorrow and am having trouble figuring out what to do with the blue wire coming off the antenna adapter. It says to plug it into the harness a blue wire (that bundle of 8 loose wires, one is blue), but the connectors are totally different. Where did you plug it in? You said it needed power but wasn't too clear on what you did with it.
Hi I have just installed this unit into my 05 S40, I have a question on the two flat cables that go from the screen to the ICM board. The new screen from thr BLP990 has one cable and it does not fit in any of the sockets. I see in the video you had the same thing. How did you solve this?

Jonathan Nienaber Ah yes, I remember now, it didn't fit and BLP was supposed to send an alternative which I never got. That cable displays the volume, heating etc. Still works without it.
Did you ever install a DAB+ extention to this? I live in Norway and the politicians decided to shut down our FM net this year (yeah...) so most older car radios will die... I am looking at the blp 990 for my 2010 V50, but I was wondering if it could be upgraded with DAB+. Any thoughts on that? :) appreciate any guidance.

Marco Palatini yeah me too. and I did something wrong exporting them because I was able to add a picture from the internet, I was also able to edit it. Next step will be to open that pic, and copy the content from the pic I want. Then I might start experimenting with the export settings.
@@conorcatney2616 you will have to get an adapter to fit a double or a single din. Remember, if you do this, you won't be able to see the fan speed and air con as these settings are hard programmed into the volvo unit. The BLP has these integrated which makes it great.

Hey I have the Volvo high performance in my V50, so do I have to install the cable in the trunk like you ? I'm guessing that it is for the amp ? Do I have an amp in the trunk as well ? :) Thanks..
