Hi Alan, I loved McDonald’s when I was younger but i have to admit I have not been in one for some time apart from a occasional drive through to get a drink but I can’t say I remember seeing one like that in the U.K, it’s something to behold. Above of suspicion I got the Blu-ray from Germany when it first came out but still not got around to watching it, the director has done some great films. Love them stranger things edition, he has really done a great job with them. It’s a great tv series but still need to see the latest season that I really want to see, again it’s all about getting the time to watch them especially with the runtime but it’s very high on my list. Copshop is a fun flick, shame the U.K Blu-ray got canceled. Freaky I was really surprised with how much fun it was, brilliant film. Wander and Rogue are another one I have had for some time but still not seen(I’m starting to sound like a broken record) to be honest I am not the biggest Megan fox fan. Great as always 👍
Hi Gary, blimey I’m in McDonald’s all the time haha but the Italian version is miles better than ours…yes, I’m very happy with the Stranger Things set, the covers are astonishingly good, Richard is an artist. (definitely try to find the time for season 4, it’s excellent mate) don’t worry, there are plenty of films in my collection I need to watch, there’s just never enough time, I’m not the biggest Megan Fox fan either, I could never see why people had a fascination with her, take care mate👍😀👍

I can't believe they have a desserts counter!! 😲 I watched Cop Shop on Amazon, I quite enjoyed it. Freaky was a lot better than I thought it would have been. I just thought it would be a freaky Friday kind of knock off. Nice of Jamie to send you some great movies.
Italy is rather lovely, I also have been to Rome and been to the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain too. Was a great mini-break when I went, the pizza and pasta was great.. 🤣

That McDonald’s in Italy’s is beautiful ! I would love to go there try all their different menu items and especially have a beer with my meal. In the US for a short time don’t know if any other states have it but Illinois did have that burger wrap But I think it was Dressed like a quarter pounder with cheese. The Colosseum is great ,one day I hope to go, the fountain really beautiful. your daughter has a good eye for filming just like you Alan. She just got to do it in widescreen next time 🤭

It must be awe inspiring to be standing there. The fountain is just beautiful. That’s somewhere on the list to visit one day. We saw Sonic at the cinema. It was ok. Jim Carey was great in it 🙂 That movie with Emilia Clarke and 6 minutes to midnight look really interesting. Ooh Freaky I wasn’t a fan of, but a lot of people really enjoyed it. Hi Lisa, I say I would love to have a dessert counter like that but it would be my downfall haha, I have a sweet tooth so wouldn’t want all that temptation in my way. I know, the flooding and battle reenactment would have been spectacular, we only think it was fighting (because that’s all we’re told I guess) I wanted the Stranger Things on disc just in case (god forbid, someone complains and they start to alter them, like using CGI to remove Hoppers cigarettes or something daft like that) Kasim and Richard have done a top job with them, take care👍😀👍

Think my wife and I missed you at HMV by about an hour, but I knew there was no way we'd be in Brighton by 9am! We had a great day, walking down Quadrophenia Alley and along the pier. We're out and about in different places through the week, including Canterbury on Wednesday, but are planning to come back to Brighton on Friday to do the i360.

Gregory Hines was a great actor, taken way to early. i do remember Eve of destruction being a decent movie but its been such a long time since i watched it. I thought Freaky wasn’t so bad. It was good enough. I also liked the movie Above Suspicion as-well. Also, I love Stranger Things, it’s an amazing series, absolutely brilliant stuff.

Hi Eva, ahh, that’s great you had your Steelbook delivered (and early too…bonus 👍) all ok here thanks, just a little tired as Pride was in Brighton all weekend and there were two extremely load parties going on close to my house, they finished around 11pm and that’s when the private parties started so a little sleep deprived (as per our conversation last week, I need my sleep, beauty sleep especially haha) yes I did, I thoroughly enjoyed it, I went in with low expectations and thought it was very entertaining. I actually liked Mads in the role of Grindelwald which surprised me. Big hugs👍😀👍
@@kermitsghost I liked Mads too, As I said I just didn’t appreciate there was no explanation to how we went from Johnny Depp to Mads Mikkelsen. I’m really glad you liked the movie regardless, I just think the studios need to reevaluate what the measure of success actually means, especially with the audience that may just prefer wanting to do premium rentals on movies if available. I’m also sorry that you feel a little sleep deprived also 😜 glad you all okay. I woke up at around 03:00 this morning and then I didn’t get back into bed until around 14:30 this afternoon because then I started to feel super tired and my body was on the verge of shutdown. @@Eva_H you absolutely right Eva, the way people watch films is completely different today but they don’t seem to take that into consideration, it’s all about box office figures. It would have quite easy to explain why Grindelwald’s appearance was altered, especially within the world of magic a simple spell to conceal his identity would have done that. Blimey Eva, lack of sleep would be the end of me haha 3am sounds like a nightmare time to wake up, you have my sympathy for sure👍😀👍
@@kermitsghost It’s okay, I’m better now😜 Ultimately if the studios paid more attention to the home video market as well as premium rentals then they’d be able to see what their audience actually looks like for some of these big franchises, that’s in addition to the box office itself. I’d be super happy at this point if they just decided to film the next two movies back to back just to call it a day, you’d get no complaints from me. I guess the reason the transition from Mads Mikkelsen to Johnny Depp bothers me so much is because in the end of the first film we went from Colin Farrell to Johnny Depp with an explanation that I thought was completely fine, couldn’t we have just had the same again? I guess not! Still enjoyable movie regardless. I forgot to mention I also sat and watched Prey on Saturday, when the movie is good the movie is good, but when it is bad it is bad.
Rogue was fun, but certainly not the worst CGI animal/creatures, you obviously haven’t watched any Asylum movies, Snakes on a Train, Aquarium of the Dead, Zoombies, Megaboa, Monster Island, Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus etc etc, there are many awful (but fun) movies made by the Studio The Asylum.
I enjoyed the film overall but aside from Snakes On A Plane you can expect poor cgi from those films, I expected more from Rogue, they should have left out the animal story line and just had the kidnappers chasing them down, would have saved 50p on the effects 🤣 take care mate👍😀👍
