When Evil Lurks was one of the best surprises of last year, had a good time with it. That is one massive and packed update and haul, many good pick ups and interesting movies. Keep on going strong, keep the love and passion alive!
Hi Simon. Epic as usual. Why Oh Why does Severin seem to hate Australia? Even in a sale their shipping is very steep. 🤦♂️ VS in my opinion keep it far more reasonable. Us Aussies get it raw sometimes. Prime day had Shinobi 🥷 set for $40.. irresistible Ninja frenzy I was in.
Great haul. I just missed out on the sci-fi chillers box on Prime Day. But my wife did just get me the new Umbrella Mario Bros. box for my birthday. That was the first "bad" movie I ever sought out to own like 20 years ago.
I just saw Blood Diner (1987). A pretty good mix of horror and dark humor. Have you seen it? It's super edgy by today's standards. There's lots of gore and *gasp* some women even get punched in the face! It actually made me laugh quite a bit, especially the first 30 minutes or so.
When Evil Lurks is awesome, brutal stuff. It loses a little steam in the second half but still quality horror. High Tension would be much better without that ending imo. Speaking of quality horror, have you seen Speak No Evil (2022 Denmark) and The Coffee Table?
