I got so many pickups in the last year. I was going to do a monthly video update but got so busy. Decided to just do another yearly collection video. Some call it an obsession, I call it an Investment. Enjoy the video!
Thank you, I really appreciate it! I’m not too picky when it comes to horror films but I try to curate my collection with movies that either impacted me or inspired me in one way or another, Or films I grew up watching! Again, I truly appreciate it! 😊🤟🏼
I love James Wan but I’m not big on the ghost story films. I loved Death Sentence and Malignant, and overall love the guy but wish he would expand his ideas more!
Thanks for commenting! I honestly love the film and the emotional weight it has with it. Kevin Bacon kicks ass in it, John Goodman gives a scary but sincere performance. The action scenes are so great! IMO The best James Wan film. Criminally underrated!
@@joeyfromnowhere yes totally agree! Kevin Bacon becomes a total badass at the end. and Billy (don't remember his real name) was made to play a gang leader
Yeah I mean it can work both ways, personally I consider candyman 2 and 3 to be the sequels and the newer one to be a reboot with connections to the original.
are you gonna pick up spiderman no way home when it comes out on blu ray steelbook there is two steelbooks it look relly good it comes out april12 and the first week in april the new scream comes out
Oh definitely! I love me some spider-man, own all of them! Hopefully I can get a steelbook of it before it sells out, but the new Scream for sure as well! Thanks for commenting, I appreciate the feedback! 😊
Thanks for commenting! Glad to hear you like cheap thrills, highly entertaining! But yeah I can agree with disturbia and Sof84 kind of drawing similarities! To me, I love the whole spying on neighbors setting (Hitchcock’s Rear Window) but the main difference is the rating. Disturbia is a great pg13 “fun” film to introduce younger people into the horror/thriller genre (I saw it in theaters) and Summer of 84 is more of a love letter to of course nostalgia and I needed that gore to make it a little more realistic! Great point though!
@@joeyfromnowhere yeah i seen disturbia in the theaters too and i have the dvd still and i bought the blu ray f summer of 1984 and they both had very strong similar plots in both
1st you saw High Tension when you were 7 😱😱😱. Your childhood was like mine but I was born in 75 so mine was a little cheesy as far as horror. 2nd newbie question…if you have a movie, why do you “upgrade” to the Scream Factory version?
Yeah that and 28 days later were my first theater memories but the best theater experience was Grindhouse (2007) I like to upgrade when I can just to have all the special features and reversible original artwork. Most of them have audio and visual enhancements too.
An old website called Stinky Tuna that isn’t up anymore, they used to sell burn on demand movies from Netflix. I’m sure there are a couple websites still out there that sell netflix movies on Blu-ray.
Great collection. I can see you don't care for slip covers on your scream or arrow titles lol. I know I know it's just cardboard right. Lol Your dvd collection is good. Most of the ones you have are on blu ray Just curious as to why you didn't get the blu's for creepshow season 1 and 2
Yeah honestly was waiting for someone to point out the slipcovers! I try to get rid of all of them either by trade or selling them to other collectors who really want them. Personally I rather sell them to get more movies or better things, or even a poster of the artwork/artist who made it. I still need to upgrade a few dvds to blu, just trying to find the time to get them :p And honestly I want the creepshows on blu but I could only find the dvds at my local shop. Maybe soon I’ll get them off Amazon :p Anyways thanks for commenting! Really appreciate it 😊
Stinky tuna . Com Last time I tried to go on the site it was down for maintenance or something and you had to enter your email to become a “member” to get invited to the site. I never got one but I think it’s because are are bootleg type, non-official releases. Honestly they look fantastic though!
Great collection! Did you ever see The Haunting of Hill House? They have a combo pack of the whole 1st "season" with the second installment -Haunting of bly manor.
Thanks, truly appreciated! I’ve seen Hill House and thought it was great. Genuinely scary too! But have not seen Bly Manor yet, so maybe the combo pack is a future pickup for me
Está bella la colección yo también tengo la mía de DVD y bluray yo no la cambio por 4k eso no sirve no estoy de acuerdo en cambiar porque uno hasta mucho dinero para hacer ese cambio
if you want to see a good horror animation Hellsing is with vampire freaking awsome and cowboy bebop and the death not one pice you canot watch and one pice at once is a long show 1000 episod
Man I would kill for those Killer Klowns and Return of the Living Dead blu-rays. I just gotta hope that we'll get 4ks by the end of 2022, I bought the steelbooks of both a couple of weeks ago just so I could have them in my collection.
Both are some of my favorites of all time! Excellent films, I agree about them getting 4K releases! 🤞🏼 thanks for checking out the video, I really appreciate it!
by the way cool horror collection dont you have other genre movies make that collection if you have other movies like action adventure drama marvel tv serier
Yes I keep all the other genres in the living room (horror in the bedroom) Was thinking about making a Blu-ray collection (non-horror) and of course recent pickups from Jan-Feb!
Thanks, I appreciate it! I respect your opinion, I know quite a few people that don’t care for it. I personally loved it for being so contrasted to the original, more of a reimagining but honestly I think it had more of a fleshed out story. And I love Tilda Swinton’s acting!
