Lou Reid's beautiful tenor voice makes this the best version of this tune ever!! And he sounds twice as good live. If you can, don't miss the chance to see this band at a festival.
You should have heard Lou when he was in Boone Creek with Ricky Skaggs with Terry Baucom and Jerry Douglas. Scary thing is they almost had Keith Whitley in the band but he chose to go with J.D. Crowe and The New South.
All you saying the best fiddle player is here havent see Alison Krauss, Mike Thompson and Dan Tyminski do this song. Listen to them, then see what you think.
Lou Reid will go down in time as one of the very best voices and musician in the bluegrass business by far and nice person talked to him after a Seldom Scene Show
