Blue Beetle Out Of The Theater Reaction! | DC 

He is more known for Cobra Kai, but the very first time I saw him was in an episode of the Rush Hour tv show from 2016. I remember when I first saw him I feel like he looks similar to someone from the Runaways comics and want him to play that character if they ever make a Runaways movie. Well in 2017 there wasn't a Runaways movie but a Runaways tv show created for Hulu, and Xolo isn't on that show. I still like the Runaways tv show.

The projections for this movie are very bad. Also, he never once said it was a good movie. He said the family bits were good, and the rest was bleh.

Yeah, her following is huge in social media. She is mostly known here for the telenovelas(which is a very important part of daily Brazilian culture) that she has been part of, since she was a little kid.

My excitement level for this movie has gone down. It doesn't sound very good. It's probably better as a rental.

@@sunnysied713 if you were excited for the movie, there's still a lot to be excited about imo. Despite my few critiques, it is still a super fun time in the theater! The majority of people I heard from my screening also seemed to enjoy it as well. I'd also add that if you're a superhero fan or just a fan of the Blue Beetle character, there will be a lot to love about the movie!

@deagleninja listen man, I'm hoping that you mean well, but there's nothing wrong with telling stories focusing on different cultures or ethnicities. I don't know what race you are or what culture you're from, but there is enough room for opportunities to give any kind of story a chance. Growing up, I didn't see people that looked like me in the movies. When I drew and create superheroes with my friends, they were always white, because that's the only race I thought that superheroes could be. It wasn't until I grew up and saw the Mark of Zorro were I felt like I saw myself in a hero. There have been countless movies with white leads and there's nothing wrong with that, but what has been wrong was not giving other demographics the opportunities to tell their own stories. There's enough room in our world to tell stories about black families, or Asian families, and even Latino families. It's not making one better or more important than the other, but making up for the fact that there has not been as many characters or stories that represent those groups. And all in all, this movie is ABSOLUTELY a human story. Full stop. It's about what family means to someone and they're relationship with each other. It's about the responsibility that comes with family and the love that brings them together. This is absolutely a universal story, but looking through the lense of this culture. It may not be your culture, but it's about the same feelings you may experience with your own family.

if you have younger siblings or cousins i would dish out and watch it with them. its not everyday we get to see a superhero movie where the lead is latino. the only thing we had was zorro :/ or vague looking actors

This film was one of Hamada's last projects before his departure so it's a DCEU film. James Gunn has already confirmed Jaime Reyes/Blue Beetle will be in the DCU as he is the first DCU character but this film won't be canon to the DCU.

Now if Blue Beetle turns out to be another dud, then oh well. Update: well, critically Blue Beetle is so far doing A LOT better than The Flash. It’s doing pretty good actually. 😎 I have a good feeling audiences will respond positively to it. Whether that means it’ll do well at the box office (it’s hard to see but not impossible) or not, we shall see

@ranma36 the problem with critics they think of their age group only, ( if you are 40 and above ) you already know about Guyer, Iron Man, Spider man and watched them in theater however a kid in 2000 or a baby of 2000 never saw such movies, this is why teenages will enjoy this BB movie
