They're definitely dead. Those crabs required brackish water to survive and that yard only had freshwater.

To protect your crawfish, you can put different sized tubing in different parts of the aquarium. Once they reach a certain size they can't get into the small tubing where the little ones can hide

@@johnchase4408 Ferrets are similar to chinchillas, if you keep one alone for a long time then there's a chance for them to become depressed. I understand that she wouldn't want a second one but it kind of just comes with the job of owning ferrets.

Agreed, I have 2 ferrets & they do everything together, eat, sleep, play & cuddle. The bond between 2 ferrets is so emotionally strong. I adopted both my ferrets & the second one was abused & it took months for him to bond with my current ferret, he would try to kill her, but after months of 20 min play times together, they bonded & they are inseparable!! Ferrets need another ferret. 😀

I think that you did the right thing putting the crawfish in a bigger tank, i think they'll have more space for each every single one of them and won't fight and kill each other, so in the future you will have more blue crawfish😁

Another way to siphon, if any of you guys are wary about sucking on the tube to start it, is to fully submerge the tube in the tank (move it around in there a bit to get the air out if you need to), cover one end with your thumb, pull that end out, and release your thumb once you’ve positioned the end where you want the water to go. It’ll create the suction without having to involve your mouth.

Paul that is called a gravity feed. As long as the part of the hose that's in the tank is above the end outside it will completely drain your tank. When I had a 29 gal tank I had Koi, I love them, and I had one of those siphons. Koi poop A LOT and so I had lots of great fish water for my house and garden plants. I love Koi but they are like kids, lots of work. Lol

Omg I love ferrets!!! Ive owned 3 before! Bandit, crash and Eddie..I miss then so much! They are the best animals.. so smart, loving n sweet! And I got mine to where they barely had any smell at all. There are things u can do to help with that. Congrats on the new member of the family cause that's what pets are..lol 😋😋😋

TristantYT Snakeheads are highly invasive and I believe illegal in Florida. They can crawl out of the water and travel to other waterways, so never put them in an inground pond!

Love the videos! You should put a small mesh over the filter in the crawfish tank so they dont get sucked in the filter.😆 or put a foam that the water can go through but not the crawfish

Paul you were actually my inspiration to get a fish tank with platys mollies and swordtails (livebearers) this was about a year ago and through that time I’ve had some difficulties but that’s what fish keeping is about learning and progress thank you for the inspiring me to get into the hobby. My god, the sound in your parent's backyard of waterfalls is so nice. Now I understand what @GregWittstock the Pond guy always tells about hearing water in your backyard and also fish. It's always nice to see you at your parents house especially when you are filming that half arc pond (Molly's pond/Mini pond) that one is my favorite.
