Fixed a lot of minor editing mistakes that were annoying me as well as added some new videos just to spice things up. Id reccomend watching with headphones and if you havent already, watch this first • Blue Devils 2017 - Met...
Nah, someome already did that, but with 9 cams (i think?) And i personnally wasnt really a fan of that, so i decided to do it this way, with the headcams switching. Glad you found it cool.
If I were to recommend a change, it would be to take the audio from Finals, and then add the videos of the headcams over it, I think that's what the other multicams. Both the delay between clips and the change in audio quality is incredibly jarring to me personally. Also, add splitscreen segments for some areas that might look cool with it, like multiple instruments in the same section.
@@bazingabot2311 I like the idea of possibly redoing it with split-screen segments, but as for taking the audio from finals and overlaying it; I don't think I'd do that, I'd really like to keep the original audio of each clip I made this really to highlight individual parts in each section, so viewers can get a better appreciation for each part/each member, (well that, and also the fact I was absolutely addicted to this show at the time) and I feel like it would be weird to have stadium cam audio, but be seeing it from a headcam, also I thought Cam meant a desync between audio and video, but I see now you and them mean a delay in the transitions. I do agree the transitions could have been better, but honestly, I think this is the best I'm going to be able to get, it's difficult to transition clips, and I had to cut or add a couple frames so the transitions wouldn't be so strange at some points. Honestly, I don't think I'll really ever redo this, this is already the third version of this exact video Ive done, and compared to the other two this is definitely the cleanest and has the least amount of editing mistakes. Also, it's very difficult for my computer to edit a video of this size/video quality without tons of lag, so I'll probably leave it at this, but you're more than welcome to make your own version if you wanna see something different!
Everyone got hyped over the ballad trumpet solo but like- are we not gonna appreciate the flight of the bumblebee trumpet? I’m in percussion and ik that’s hard af
Thank you to "Marco Avila Son Avila" for letting me know that Kevin Chang finally did upload a headcam! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ygyps1uLGCw.html If only he had uploaded his headcam before I made this...
Woah... you're on like... every dci video ever. But yea, I did this a couple times throughout just so cuts wouldn't have to be so abrupt I backed up a little bit when going to the next cam. It wasn't originally like that, but (at least to me) it sounded better being able to hear features from the beginning rather than a couple seconds in
Ahh shoot. What did you play? I realized after posting this that I missed a euph/trombone cam and maybe a trumpet cam, but other than those I think I got everything that was available at the time.
@@davissmith4541 OK so I checked and I know why yours wasn't included. I accidentally downloaded Mikeys cam twice but put your name on one of the files my bad
After trying lots of different things, I felt like it worked better sometimes to have the next clip start off just a moment before the ending of the previous one. It gives each clip a tiny bit of "context" and it made the clip change feel less abrupt.
I play trombone, and the accuracy alone that it requires to play the marimba is amazing. I tried playing it one time with a friend of mine and it took me about 30 minutes to play 3 chords. Impressive.
@@cartoonpower0 I'd recommend getting in touch with the person who uploaded it first. They have a website, just search up their name and it should be there. Contact form would be there as well.
@@jOhnaProduce well its not really any of those, I guess you could call it a song, but it's a couple different songs, also that totally disregards the visual aspect of the show, when you reduce it to "a song"
