Have you smoothed it by averaging the past few values? You get the speed from the length of the delta vector. if you didin't know

@@se-ssi My pea brain doesn't know what a delta vector is, but yes I know how to average past values. Each tick a counter goes up, and each time it goes up, I store a diff value in a diff variable, then i divide all the values

No github... yet. I might do a tutorial on balistics. It's a lot more than just leading for this.
