I believe Ruff's influence on the goalies, will be huge. I think they sign another goalie this summer, to go with UPL. Ruff will want Levi well-seasoned before he takes over the crease in Buffalo, so, he gets another year in Rochester imo.

Boston might very well be the spoiler here from the east. I'm rooting for Carolina and Florida just because they have fellow natives there but rocky road ahead for both.

I already hated Toronto, and now I hate them even more for making me have to root for Boston! I’m no fan of the Panthers either, but at least I can back to rooting against the Bruins! That will be the series to watch! Florida is better than they were last year, while Boston took a half step backwards. You also have the Panthers will all the pressure of proving last season wasn’t a fluke, while the Bruins are looking for revenge and want to prove that it was. Can’t wait!!

Your take on UPL and Levi, with you taking Levi as the number 1 as our playoff goalie...is that really a bad thing? If UPL gets the season wins to get us in, and Levi becomes our Playoff goalie...that's a good problem to have. I will take that problem any day.

I heard that during the post game press conference after Toronto lost, Marner was quoted as saying, “The Leafs players in Toronto are looked at like they’re gods”. Which says to me, if true, all anyone needs to know about the Toronto fan base, and why the team fails. IF the players feel that they’re “like gods”, then that “entitlement” is going to smack them down every time!

Oilers are “due”. Idk. So are the leafs. So were the Sabres. Mcdavid might be awesome, but clearly he’s not put them over the hump once. He needs a change of scenery. Not to mention no one gets to see him play almost ever on the east. Most of us are sleeping when he’s playing. Waste of a talent.
