The snorkeling camera is a GoPro Max, however, it’s my first time using this camera under water and it turns out it performs really badly. My old Hero 3 Black did a way way better job many years ago. Note to self: don’t use this camera ever again for snorkeling.
Wow! What an awesome video Vio! You completely told the story about not only your snorkelling adventure, but also gave the viewer adventure through the cinematic drone shots. Such amazing colours, and what a place! I'm curious how you got the drone shots whilst you were snorkelling? Did you use waypoints? or were the shots of others in the water? Another fantastic exhibition of 'how to create videos'. Fantastic work mate.
Thanks Bron. I’ve launched the drone after we finished snorkeling, there were other people out there but the same spot we were just 30 mins prior. I’ve matched the drone travel with our boat travel so it looks like it came with us to tell the story from the air, boat and under water. Only wished my GoPro Max was performing better underwater, but it did a pretty crappy job, worse than my 3rd get GoPro I had years ago. All other models do great under water just the Max (360) on Hero mode sucks.
