Teach her to “watch you first “ if you can’t hold a dogs attention training will be much more difficult. Certified k9 trainer and handler here. I recommend getting a book on dog training and follow it. RU-vid is full of people who misguide or don’t understand dogs thinking and behavioral patterns through their stages and give horrible advice for training .
the best sister in the world the best awe im sorry to hear that unfortunately our doggies have to leave us trust me I cry every time I think about me having to be without either one of them
Jackie & Byron...thank you! Most of the world have a bias negative opinion of pitbulls and their actually quite amazing dogs. So thank you for sharing this beautiful video of your baby for the world to see. I’m a proud owner of two beautiful bitbulls. I wish your doggy a healthy and happy life. 😊
I got my blunose pit when she was 7 weeks now shes 8 weeks but she bites a lot and hard i keep her away from my daughter because she bites hard any advice for her biting to stop?
T O N Y G E E E puppies will tend to do this for a while, start by saying no nice and firm, another way trainers do is they squeal and act hurt and walk away from the puppy, good luck I hope this helps
T O N Y G E E E Mines the same age and does the same thing he’s always biting or comes up to me and starts biting my pants try doing what the other person said
Give her some toys, bully barbells and bully braids as she grows bigger. Teething can be very overwhelming but it's part of their puppy phase. Also recommend buying some bitter apple spray when she starts biting furniture, clothing or even your body parts, you'll be relieved on how well it works for their biting/teething. Dont spray it directly at her but places or parts where she bites and when she tastes it she will not like it and eventually stop biting it. Its harmless and you can buy it at petsmart. Good luck and Best wishes!
My dogs kinda little 14 weeks now but looked like your dog when urs was little (except white with brown patch around left part of eye) so you definitely gave me an idea of what he'll look like.
sorry for the late reply, hes just genetically muscular but we do play not train him to be muscular and we used to feed him 3 times a day or when he would ask for food but now its 2 times a day once in the am and once at night around 6-7 pm
You have to get the proper breed of dog. The “blue nose pitbull” isn’t actually a pitbull but an amstaff and or American bully both breeds that come from the pitbull but were bred to be larger and more muscular for show purposes while the real pitbull is still used as a hunting and fighting dog(mostly hunting by respectable breeders).
Richard Stratton says there have always been gray/blue dogs just rare what's your thoughts on that ,if the staffie and old English bull dog helped create the American pitbull in my mind why would there not be gray dogs if some staffies were gray
@@darrellsomers5427 The history of blue dogs and the dislike many bully breed enthusiasts have for them is a complicated one but I’ll try to explain it the best I can. During the height of bull baitings popularity, many lines of Scottish bulldogs would have blue sight hounds added to them which is where the blue coat originated. Now the reason why this color still exists today is because in 1835 when the animal welfare act was passed, bullbaiting became illegal but there was still a demand for game dogs in the dog fighting and rat baiting pits due to the ability for it to be more easily discreet than bull baiting. Because of this many bulldog breeders wanted to produce a more manageable dog that would still retain the gameness of the bulldog in a smaller package which is why they began to be crossed with terriers. The crossing of bulldogs with terriers dates back as far as 1800 with the first known bull and terrier named trusty but prior to 1835 many of the early bull and terriers were bred for rat baiting until. By the 1850s, the bull and terrier was separated into 5 groups cradley heath dogs which had heavy bulldog and would be later known as the staffordshire bull terrier. The Walsall was a 50 50 split between bulldog and terrier and would be the foundation for the American pitbull terrier and English bull terrier. The darliston had heavier terrier blood and many believe these dogs were used in the creation of the Boston terrier. The Irish staffordshire terrier which would also have a hand in the creation of the apbt and were cradley heath dogs crossed with irish terriers. And the blue Paul terrier which was a Scottish line of bull and terrier and would be used in the creation of the amstaff. Now as for the staffy being used to create the pitbull, it’s not necessarily true but not completely untrue. What I mean by that is the pitbull became a recognized breed 30-40 years before the staffordshire bull terrier and when it became recognized, the cradley heath dogs became the standard. The reason why this is a problem is because at the time of the pitbulls development, any bull and terrier produced in staffordshire county was called a staffordshire bull terrier this means cradley heath, darliston and Walsall dogs could all be considered staffordshire bull terriers as long as they were produced in the county. Many of the staffordshire terriers used in the creation of the American pitbull terrier were Walsall dogs not the cradley heath dogs that would become the standard. Shortly after the pitbull was registered into the ukc, it would later be registered into the adba in 1909 where it would be bred to maintain its gameness through hunting even to this day giving it the title of the real American pitbull terrier. This is import to know because shortly before the Registration of the American staffordshire terrier John p Colby’s nephew wondered into one of the kennels of his game dogs and was mauled to death which would cause colby to kill off many of his game dogs it was around this time when he would start to breed his dogs for show rather than game because if he wanted to make the dogs more accessible to the general public, he would have to produce a dog that could be around the family. At the time it was well known that the blue Paul terrier wasn’t like most bull and terriers in the sense that it was more a working dog than a game one this enabled it to be used in the breeding programs of early show type staffordshire bull terriers which were praised for their gentle temperament around children giving them the name nanny dogs. Many of these show type staffies carrying the blue coat gene passed down from the blue Paul terrier were used in the breeding programs of the amstaff and are evident when looking at some early amstaffs such as champion Kirby of indiana. Now the way blue came into the ukc apbt is through the stud books being opened between the akc and ukc until the 60s or 70s but even today you can still register an akc dog into the ukc but can’t do it the other way around. I know it’s a lot hope I answered your question.
@@darrellsomers5427 there have been blue game dogs but the blue is due to color dilute which is a genetic defect and if you manage to find 2 game pits that both have color dilute you’re more than like going to end up with brindle or black puppies
Quick question what dog food did u feed em? because I have a blue nose too n the dog food I get him he won’t eat them at first he does but after 2-3 days he won’t eat.
There is. A lot of people in the Internet say that blue nose and red nose pitbulls are separate breeds but they are not they are just a color of the American Pitbull terrier.
@@BlueLemonade144 all bully type breeds are called pitbulls now a days, that’s why their bite percentage is so high because the mix in all the pits together
