Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without the Advent Crown and the Chalk Farm Salvation Army Band "heard" coming up the hill to the huge doors of Studio 1.

If anyone is a fan of Blue Peter then I am well you should come over my house because I’m having a Blue Peter special over the years come on any watch Coronation Street because me and my Nana do and anyone watch crackerjack because it made a comeback so only three more days to go until season one of crackerjack has ended so see you in the morning and it’s just lovely to have you here andGoodbye

I thought Yvette Fielding hosted BP in the early 90s? - Surprised to see her in 1987.

She joined in 1987. The last Blue Peter presenter to be employed by veteran Blue Peter Editor Biddy Baxter. She replaced Janet Ellis.

Yvette joined Blue Peter on 29th June 1987 and remained with the programme until 1992.

I think I remember her very first show. I seem to recall her being incredibly nervous! She settled in well though - she was well into those musical numbers!

Caron Fielding's accent went a bit screwy when she was born in London, had Irish parents and moved to NI when she was very young. Sounds vaguely Scottish at parts.

Who watch the Blue Peter Christmas special on CBeebies good and if I don’t we don’t show Blue Peter on CBeebies but they did run it anyway why did CBeebies Eric CBBC did so yeah so it was Christmas last year so why would you want bloodless it’s not even Christmas so just delete Merry Christmas just a late Merry Christmas and a happy New Year I know it’s Christmas this year
