Thanks Gav The Victorian high country is my happy place and the Snowy Mountains as well I'm glad i've taken lots of photos over the years so I can drag them out and relive the times.
@@rodgeorge7244 that’s one thing I don’t do enough of these days is take photos, always slips my mind as I’m always concentrating on filming. Guess I have a few good videos to watch later on in life. It’s a great place to go and reset up in the hills. 👍🏼
Well that was another great drive you shared with us. The views we awesome the mountains look blue and the grey trees along the road look beautiful too. You aren't to bad with the camera like watching the tyres as you traveled along that rough track looked great. Thanks for another great video and your time, travel safe.
Thanks Anne, glad your enjoying the content I’m putting out there.! It’s pretty spectacular countryside that’s for sure. 👌 Thanks again for watching.👍🏼
Glad you got the views you were chasing mate after the snow drive white out last time. The camera just never does it justice on how spectacular it is up there. Looks like you boys had a great trip!
It was good Damo that’s for sure, I reckon the drone shows it the best, it’s good to see it from another perspective. The boys loved it, one of their first real VHC trips. 👍🏼 Cheers for tuning in.
Thanks Scotty Why are the comments turned off on your channel mate ? Loved the last episode, great recovery technique to keep ya balance. Good work, looking forward to the next one. 👍🏼
Crackin trip again mate. Videos get better every episode 👌👌 Drone footage on top of Blue Rag puts it all into perspective hey. Absolutely stunning country 👌
Yeah, it’s always good to look back at the footage especially the drone, as you don’t always take it all in when driving and concentrating on the filming side of things. Thanks again for watching 🍻👍🏼
Awesome video Krusty, you have some great trips mate. Can you do a video one time about your troops and it’s set up as I’m super interested and I reckon there’s a few others who’d like to know. 👍
Thanks. I’ve tried a few times to film a episode, but have never been happy with the outcome. Not a big fan of talking into the camera. But with the troopy being off the road for such a long and it’s always a work in progress… but I will be doing one in the near future. 👍🏼
All good mate. I see you dropped a new episode. I’ll get onto it tonight, looks like a good one. Spewing about the water levels on Crooked River, it’s a good drive. Always keen to watch Billy Goats, see how much it’s changed.
@@aguyandhistroopy I see the gate on that track, so it must be shut soon, im guessing Queens Birthday weekend ( is is it Kings birthday now 🤣) and want to do the high altitude camping u did last episode 🍻🔥🏕🇦🇺
@@darrenrichardson6936 yeah mate close that royal holiday, or if not sooner depending on the weather. They will be around for a lot more years to come… well hopefully.
Loving your channel!! New subscriber here, stumbled on a video of yours when I was looking up high country videos. Been hooked ever since and watching them all one by one 🙌🏻 it’s good just to watch the simplicity of it and I have to say given me a lot more inspiration to get just get out there and explore the high country! I just moved to Canberra not long ago and have a 1HDT 80 series and have been hesitant on hitting the VHC as I’m not twin locked yet.. but watching your videos is pushing more and more! Awesome content mate, thanks for sharing it with us all💪🏻
Thanks Matt for the Sub, it greatly appreciated, I reckon you might of been number 1800. 👍🏼 You don’t need to be locked to hit the VHC, just pick your tracks ( there are plenty of them ) and the right weather you will see 90 percent of it with the 80, more then capable. You should look up Outdoors CBR, a Canberra based YT channel, boys go alright. Do a lot of tracks to the south of there plus some VHC, could give you some ideas. Once again thanks mate for your support. 👍🏼
@@aguyandhistroopy ahh awesome to hear! We’ll pump those numbers up mate💪🏻 Okay I’m stoked to hear that, I always had that lingering thought I’d atleast need a rear locker.. my 80 is an all time 4WD too so that should help.. but that’s good to know I can get out there in the right weather. I’ll just have to step up my game for the snow trips😂 Yea I’ve watched a few of their videos they seem like a cluey bunch of blokes too. I’d love to do a run that starts in the Brindabella all the way into VHC.. I did the Geehi hut run and a bit of exploring around there a few years ago, Tom groggin crossing was shut unfortunately but I can’t wait to get back and check it all out.. Thanks for getting back to me too mate I really appreciate it! Hell of a lot more motivated to get out there now, certainly not as intimidated by it now either and put some gravel in my travels. Thanks mate👍🏻
@@mountainconstructions fair effort, my first time up was in the snow, about 3/4’s of the way up the track turns to the right, but it looks as if you keep going straight ahead … I did, it’s nearly a straight drop off. 😂😂 did you do the same thing ?
Thanks Mick, yeah can be very busy, always find just before long weekends or school holidays are the best times. I’ll avoid these spots normally during these times .
Thoughts of getting a 2009 SH Subaru forester up there on stock suspension and Michelin LTX Trail tyres. Would need to air down for sure but not sure about gearing .
You’d go close, only really the last pinch to get to the trig, it’s rocky-shailey with some wombat holes. Gearing and clearance could bring you unstuck. You could check out All Terrain Action on YT, they’re driving around Holden Adventra AWD wagons around the VHC. They made it up there.
