33$ a night? Great price for this oasis in the area! The Harry S Truman home and Library are just great. Only 15 minutes from the campground. Very quiet too, only motorcycles doing their thing could be heard.
No trails here, but you are not far from 100 miles of trails per the gate attendent. The boat ramp is just down the road so get out your paddle boards and Kayaks! Saw a truck loaded up with fishing gear, so there must be fish in the lake.
