@@imogene2044 he still had great intuition that’s something you can’t learn it’s a skill you are just born with. Also there’s a lot of detectives that are street heavy and know the streets. Look how much he taught Carlson in this film.
WRONG! There was NEVER a time like that. Messages and agendas have ALWAYS existed in film. Even this film has a soft message to it. You must be referring to messages that you do not agree with.
@@Wis_Dom A common criticism, but, no. What was the "message" in this film? I see none. I am a progressive guy, it has nothing to do with me agreeing or disagreeing with anything, I have just noticed a strong uptick in the politicising of film in recent decades, much more so than previously.
I remember doing security for the Owner of Oracle re make of the Olympics boat race in SF when the owner of the oracle shows up his own security took over our security ha ha reminds me of how the federal agents said stand down .
I love how each actor in here plays their role perfectly. You see them as the character in each scene in the movie not as Martin Lawrence, Dave Chappelle, Luke Wilson, Peter Green etc. When Martin is in back of truck with Chappelle the way he speaks, breaths, talks etc is like that of someone in that type of situation. They are all very talented actors.
Malone: You got me tired, you know that. I don't like to get tired. When I get tired, that means I have ass to whup, and I THINK THAT'S WHAT I'M ABOUT TO DO, GET YO ASS UP!
the absolutely joyful smile on his face watching him beat up that suspect... beautiful what a good movie, i miss the old days when funny movies were allowed to be funny without being forced to include at least 2-4 political agendas...
