This refreshing Blueberry Avocado Smoothie is a nutrient-packed tasty fusion of flavors, providing a energizing treat perfect for any time of the day.
Yield:1 serving
Ingredients:
1 c. blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
1 banana
1 c. coconut water
1 tbsp. honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
Directions:
Prepare Ingredients: If you haven't done so already, peel and pit the avocado, and peel the banana.
Combine Ingredients: In a blender, combine the blueberries, avocado, banana, and coconut water.
Blend: Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the consistency is too thick, you can add more coconut water as needed.
Taste and Sweeten: Taste the smoothie and add honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter flavor. Blend again to combine.
Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy!
