So in the United States, sugar usually means refined or white sugar, and is usually cane sugar, or beet sugar. This almost looks like a dense light brown sugar. We also have almond flour, so I’m sure that is the same as ground almonds. This looks like a dense moist cake and very delicious! 🧁
