I learned the basics of audio electronics from watching This channel, mostly going back through many years content. Made a huge difference. Unfortunately the forums have never done that for me. Very appreciative for what you did all those years. After having spent 30 years flying for a major air carrier, I can fully appreciate what the travel schedule does to your time available for extracurricular activities. Thanks so much for the update!

Congratulations on your success. I will be rewatching a lot of precious videos as I am now in the building phase of tube gear. Loved the tube amp 101 series, more of that content would be great.

Congratulations ! In a previous life, I was flying/driving to our production facilities across the Country. i was into Wilmington, NC so much, the woman at the Rental Counter would just throw me a set of keys, and we would settle up when I was ready to head home. I ve retired, and am getting my bench put together, so I can get back to my electronic hobby (retirement play time), and your videos have been SO helpful. Would love to come see the barn, one of these days. The door in the background is gorgeous. I'll send you an email, one of these days. Congratulations again on the new job. Rip

Greetings Mark. Thanks for the update. Your videos for me during Covid were great, inspiring and mostly informative. Much appreciated. Keep on balancing your home life and your busy so called 'work' schedule, plus keeping a close monitor of your health. They are the priorities!! Looking forward to seeing your reinvention of your so called 'barn'. Take care.

Hope you are happy with the new work life balance, if it is what you are into , which it sounds like you are, seems like you were handed a fantastic opportunity. Personally I am an IT techie, had a great job for a few years, then we got taken over, 12 month latter they new company "restructured" my boss and I both made redundant.

Thank you for the update on work and pleasure. It's very important to balance work and pleasure to prevent burning the candle out. A recommendation, retire sooner than later. Stress can change everything in a blink of an eye. Looking forward to electronics stuff. Take care, Dan, KI6VBC

I found you about 8 years ago trying to figure out how to recap my marantz 4270. I knew nothing about electronics, could barley solder like a chimpanzeeh on acid. Schematics might as well have been hieroglyphics. But YOU got me interested in filling this major gap in my knowledge. Since that time I have rebuilt several pieces of audio gear, fixed my trs 80 model 3, and built your version of the kt88 se amp. I also scratch built a matching preamp based off the simple classic rca schematic. All thanks to you and your videos. Of course I watch other channels and try to glean what I can from everyone. Television, radio, computer stuff. But man, I miss your content. So glad to hear from you and it appears you are in good health after your scare. Got to make hay while the sun shines but I am looking forward to where you will go with the channel in retirement. Lastly, i just want to say thank you.

Hi Mark, thanks for all the videos, enjoyed constructing the KT88 amp following your build, although I used Hammond Transformers for mine, and although my B+ is lower, along with other Voltages, is sounds fantastic to my ears and no smoke at the moment! 73

Waiting for your content when you start enjoying your retirement. I started watching you before you even had 1000 subscribers.. Thank you for the knowledge you have bestowed upon me and others. Still waiting for the pre-amplifier that you could not do publicly on RU-vid because somebody else supposedly has it in production I remember that well. You offer it to Members or visitors to your barn Radiolab as a project. Not publicized..
