This video shows the coral reef and fish on the west coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. All the footage was captured with a BlueROV2 drone. While there was a lot of life and fish, we also found a lot of dead and dying coral, sadly.
The BlueROV2 is a subsea drone for research, exploration, and adventure. With six thrusters, open-source software, quick-swappable batteries, and an HD video option, it is the most capable and affordable ROV on the market.

when i have that ROV i promise to explore our old spanish ship wreck in our area.

The cable sinks. I'm concerned it would snag and break coral structures. ; (

Hi Jack! The cable is actually neutrally buoyant in freshwater and slight positively buoyant in seawater, so it floats up and stays away from the coral! We definitely wouldn't want to damage anything either.

The junction of cable and ROV should be put in the in axis of center of gravity

These things are so cool just need to justify to the wife why I need another toy. I think I could say it diving in winter with out getting wet. Coral is dying all over the world you should see what happened to the biggest reef in the world (great barrier) last February massive bleaching. I think the plant is telling us the end is soon if we do not wake up.
