Half the fiddle tunes I know fit in this mode.
Thanks! I read up on major blues scale. I quote www.jazzguitar.be/major_blues_scale.html "The notes of the C major blues scale (C D Eb E G A) are the same as the notes from the A minor blues scale (A C D Eb E G)" Which our author also says in the video. But the major blues scale has a quite different sound and usage. I'm not sure how useful it is to think of the 2 scales as similar, but they surely have the same sets of intervals.
