I wanted to add Apple Play also known as CarPlay to my older Honda Civic. This car is an 8th generation Honda Civic and only has an aux cord. I found the Seicane CarPlay unit that also works on Android. It has a build in dash camera and comes with a rear camera, and the best thing was it was only $100. So I was skeptical, but it works great. The Bluetooth connection is easy to make and after that every time you start your car it automatically connects. The camera quality is good, and the Seicane will record driving footage if you have a memory card. It also has a built in G force indicator.
There are two ways to hook it up, you can hardwire it in, or plug it into your lighter and both cords are included. For listening you can select FM and play on your radio, or use the aux cord. You can also listen from the internal speakers in the unit. This means you can very easily add it to any older car, this means no more cables and adaptors, upgrade any older car to perform like a new car.
