Hey Ian, Yes you can, you can have your phone connected via the bluetooth and still have your tablet linked up using a aux cable to stream your music C2

I just installed the CTAVGBT009, What are the extra cables on the loom? two wires with bullet connector (female and male) and one red with pin on it. And also, the audio distorts when played on BT, phone volume must be at 1-2 to get cleanish audio to RCD300 headunit. Any ideas what the extra cables are for? And any fixes for the audio distorsion?

I made a mistake and I order the adapter with 8 pin plug and I need the new one with 12 pin like in the video. Now my questio is it will work if I manage to change the plug? If I cut the old one and rewire in the new 12 pin conector?

Hey, I would think that it wouldn't be that simple due to the harness being configured to the specific year/model of vehicle, changing from one connecter to another might be missing a pivotal wire for your vehicle, contact our tech team for more information at either support.connects2.com/tickets/technical or at technical@connects2.com C2

Hi, 2 (possibly stupid) questions: 1. I already have a CD changer in the glove box of my 2004 A3, I assume I would have to unplug it to allow this device to plug into the head unit? 2. How do you install the interface in the glove box without the mic and other cables running exteriorly? Cheers.

Hey +Jay Vasan, Yes the 12 pin CD plug will have to be replaced for the Bluetooths CD changer in the loom's cradle/connector, also the interface is best to be attached using something like double sided velcro within the glovebox, with the loom and microphone wire being threaded behind the glovebox panels C2

Hey +Anton Eriksson, For the Audi A4 2006 you want to look at the CTAADBT004, this is vaild for Audi's from 2005 onwards and work with the Concert, Chorus and Symphony radios C2

Hi there, I bought a Bluetooth streaming unit only and I don't understand the installation instructions. Its the CTAPE1A2DP - The instructions say connect red wire to accessory 12V and I'm not sure where this is? (Peugeot 207 with RD4 Headunit) Thanks!

I've sorted it now I've got the wiring diagram, but as a heads up I emailed your technical team before purchase and didn't get a reply.. so I can't say Im overly impressed so far. Also I think I probably should have gone for the Bluetooth, Audio streaming kit instead rather than just the Bluetooth module. Anyway thanks for replying to me here.

Hey, We do have two versions of the BT adapter for A4 2005, the CTAADBT003 works with the A4 up to 2005 which is for Mini ISO connectors and has to be used with either a Concert/Chorus or Symphony OEM head unit: www.connects2.co.uk/Product/ProductItem/CTAADBT003 Or there is the CTAADBT004 which works with the A4 from 2005 onwards, works with the Quadlock connector and again the same OEM head units only: www.connects2.co.uk/Product/ProductItem/CTAADBT004 The main difference is the connector to the OEM head unit basically, so either Quadlock or Mini ISO, you can choose either and be on your way with streaming C2

Hi! I have a problem with mine. When i put it in CD mode the left front speaker in my door starts making a “bass heartbeat sound” but when i put it in any other play mode like FM the sound stops.

Looks great! My 2010 S3 has Bluetooth phone calling capability but not music streaming. If I buy this unit will I be still be able to answer calls as well as play music? Cheers!

i have an BMW e46 3-series 2003, does this work With the original screen in this car as well ? if not please do lead me to a link where i can buy the correct one. With the a youtube guide how to install it as well. Thank you (Y)

Hey +Gildàrts, For the BMW E46 (2003) you will want to look at purchasing either the CTABMBT007 (for head units with a Quadlock connector) or the CTABMBT009 (which is for units with a 17 way round pin connector). You can either search online or ask your nearest dealer whether they stock these products as we don't sell direct to public. In relation to a how to fit guide, all of the products are quintessentially the same process, all require that you change the CD changer connector and attach all relevant wiring as shown, C2

Hi. I have just bought a kit to reinstall Bluetooth in my Peugeote 307 -04. I have been in contact with your Swedish dealer who gave me instructions on installing the blue connector in the available port for CD changer. I was also invited to take the loose black cord that was with the product to ground. I should not care about the white loose cor, they said. I have done this now but it does not work. The device is powered and flashes but the CD changer does not find the device. What am I doing wrong? Your Swedish dealer can not help me so I really need help from you. Sincerely Anna Brelid Sweden

Don't waste your time buying this for a "handsfree" mobile solution. You have to answer the call on your mobile and then manually switch the source on the unit which on my RNSE means you have to click "CD/TV", then press "Source" and then scroll to "CD" to hear your phone call and this is all WHILST driving! Its fair enough having to change the source for listening to music but a proper handsfree solution should automatically cut to the call when its answered.
