Hola una duda que tengo ,tengo el mismo s3 8p1 2007 , es normal k los cambios sean duros ? La 1 y la 2 marcha siento k como k les falta sitio para entrar las demas marchas van de lujo , y la otra pregunta es , es normal k cuando voy en 2 marcha a 1000 rpm k aveces se sacude el coche y que se escuche como dos platos chocandose? Espero una respuesta se le agradece mucho😔
hola señor, el cambio de marcha no debe ser diferente a tercera o cuarta. No debería haber temblores como los que describes. Recomendaría acudir a un profesional sobre el tema. lo siento, no puedo ayudar mucho más en línea
Any proof it causes damage over time?! One "trick" i found myself is that because they are much stronger than the factory ones and the boot is going with much more force up so it hits hard the hinge end is to use one of these and one of the factory ones.. So you split the force between the factory and the new one.. And it still auto opens
@@chrisnik9750 had them on my A3 3 years ago, had them installed 3 months more or less, they bent my boot struts and because of that it bent the hinges, causing a noticeable panel gap when closed. I was in a Audi A3 8p Facebook group and had this discussion with other members that installed these sprigs and they complained of exactly the same problem. I sold it a couple years ago, so it’s not my problem anymore
Hello, great video, I got an audi a5, it seems that the link is dead, can I buy those springs separately from aliexpress lets say and install them on my OEM part? If so, what do you call those springs, how can I find them online?
I did not buy any yet.. I am still looking for some but i do not know what length to buy them, as I have visually checked, when the boot closes there is no space for any spring as it closes till the end(I might be wrong though )

The video is ok but there's no such a bootlid gas struts on ebay, there's no where actually a market to find these ones. And the guy on the video post a LINK FOR ITEMS. I hate being cheated. 👎👎👎👎👎
I'm sorry it's pretty straight forward. The struts just push into place. If you have purchased just the springs, thats a different story. To put the springs on you need to twist the thinner ends of the struts so the tops become undone and then you can put the springs on and tight the tops back up.
