Sometimes they do the octuple backflip into frame perfect mid-air catch of scug, just to fall off the tiniest gap into a death pit. Guess that's the closest they get to in between: Both at once.
I thought you were using Blunders as a collective noun and that’s so cute. Like a collective of crows is called a murder and collection of cyans is a blunder…
"Cyan, like any lizard are just as bad at the game as you are" the factual information combined with an insult is absolutely something glados would say.
I have absolutely no clue why I've never seen cyans in this way. They've only ever been the 'super scary fast lizard', and the way they'd move around sometimes would certainly cement that.
If they're somewhere where they aren't super prone to falling, they can be really scary and deadly, and you can't see their slips or imprecision. They're certainly much faster than you are, too. It's in Sky Islands specifically where you see them doing really dumb things. Or if they're tamed so their singular shared brain cell isn't fixated entirely on killing you.
That GLaDOS voice fits so perfectly. I really love the disinterested, somewhat mocking tone. I know it probably won't last as you said you mainly use free trials, but know that this voice is optimal for this type of commentary. It is quite recognisable and opens quite a few possibilities to play around with, than some other random voice.
I will forever remember That One Cyan Lizard that sniped me from across the screen in Sky Islands I will also remember my tamed Cyan that actually blocked me from jumping Sometimes that one brain cell that they have in their brain makes a connection, most of the times they are big lovable clumsy murder puppies
oh my goodness you awakened long-buried memories I don’t remember which campaign but I had a cyan and it blocked me from SO MANY jumps just because it would launch itself over my head and stop directly in front of me
@@dash_dash_eevee I uh have bad news… I mouse-dragged that cyan through depths and ascended with it, and interestingly, I don’t know if because of a mod, or just it breaking, but while in the depths and for a while after that run, cyans’ jump was just.. broken? They would charge up but then just fall, usually into an abyss or further down a tunnel they were trying to climb, because their ai was just telling them to jump, but they couldn’t. Kinda funny to watch, also sad. They’re un-broken now, but I don’t know what did it
@@BlueskyPara good that you dragged your friend down for ascension anyway It's just that one lizard saw God and every Cyan after that got their eyes open and wanted to meet them. They are a little lost, but they still had the spirit, so they tried.... I think
cyans must really like water or something. one playthrough, i saw a cyan in that one water room in industrial just laying upside down on the water surface with its legs sticking straight up into the air. it was so funny, i hastily took a brief video of it with my phone
Rainworld hard mode experience. Climbing the wall with these guys makes you feel good about your parkour skills f or once. Cause you're not worst in it anymore. That feeling remains before they jump on you from antenna hidden from frame.
@@jabba2126 Personally, they're still cute to me then. Just also like bugs. Sometimes you have to kill cute things because they're a nuisance or threat.
I was thinking the exact same thing lmao, was gonna say "I know we all like to think the scugs are doing the vocals for the threat music, but that Cyan stole the show"
Cyans really do have like 2 braincells setting themselves on fire looking for the fastest and dumbest way to go flying off the map At least theyre not yellows pushing others off the map and missing bites at point blank, they have more braincells they just don't use them
I find it kinda sad that in the downpour dlc (for Nintendo at least) cyans no long drop things when jumping, which sucks at it makes them fell a lot less like animals
Wait, really? One of my first encounters with cyans in downpour I got caught by one, and it ended up dropping me during a jump, and i also play on nintendo switch (and oh my god i really need to get back into downpour, i still havent played since the day it came out on console 💔)
They probably still drop things, it's just that how often they drop stuff is dependent on where they're jumping to/from, and what they're carrying. Big, unwieldy things like centipedes or sometimes even scavengers are way more likely to be dropped than, say, a slugcat. And this holds true for slugcat, too. I'm more likely to drop scavenger or centipede bodies when trying to platform, as opposed to small centipedes or other small things.
Your videos have turned me into a rain world scientist, I’m beginning a bunch of testing logs, writing them down in a sketch book, using them to cross data, creature interactions, verity, etc
Honestly it's really good in survival campaigns too once you've seen everything's limits in safari mode. Like, I didn't know just how much wall was inaccessible to the wall-walking lizards.
5:16 i swear to god those cyans are either the bane of my existence or my best friend in my hunter run because they fight the annoying yellow lizards or gang up on me
Honestly this feels more like something Moon would make, they would just jump all around her chamber and she would be like “aww they got the zoomies :)”
Actually their pathfinding is attempting to exploit the physics in order to get up to a higher vantage point (potentially trying to glitch its way on top of the ball).
Unlikely. There's no plants that resemble their tails for them to have any reason to do that. It's more likely that's just their "thinking" position as the AI assesses their surroundings.
Haha, no way. Most modded lizards are broken and/or gimmicky. I also don't like how they mess up the original spawns of the base game lizards and the Lizard Customizer mod has a nasty habit of altering how regular lizards look, thus giving them false traits. So I probably won't ever do any videos regarding modded lizards unless one happens to particularly catch my fancy.
