The first one I can honestly laugh along with cause it's just so bad it's hilarious. I know not everyone looks at it that way though. The third" one is just.... I can't even blame James just wtf
The charisma that James portrays is adorable. Like a kid walking down the toy isle and screaming about which one to get. Thank you for making everyone's day happier, James!
James: There was a point where a lot of people requested Rubber to be covered on the Kill Count Also James: If enough people requested Rubber, I’d cover it
I fucking love this channel! Fairly new to it, watch at least one Kill Count before bedtime. Lol. I dig how casual it is, the sometimes "let's see what happens" approach is gold. Also, my movie room looks the same. I do alphabetical order but sequels stay together 🤘
I pretty much have a series grouped together and everything else in just wherever I put it. Shelves, boxes, stacked, etc. Also, I live in an attic and it's nowhere near as big as this room.
Abominable is damn near underrated. It’s got great suspense and some truly gnarly kills. I actually sent a suggestion for it in the email request for the channel a year back.
"Annihilation, one of my favorite movies of the past decade; would love to cover that sometime soonish. Antebellum, one of my least favorite movies of the last decade. Not going to cover that."--the fact that you came up with that on the fly just shows you're meant to be in front of a camera.
@@aim-to-misbehave5674 Yeah that's the one. I skipped the part where they go in detail why they didn't like it though, the premise is interesting enough for me that I want to see it unspoiled.
Honestly for a Horror RU-vidr/Horror aficionado it still isn't that much. There are a ton of essentials that are still missing. Although in our modern streaming environment it gets a lot harder to justify having such a large collection.
I feel like James should do a poll thing like he chooses the most underrated or weirdest horror movies and the fans chooses which one gets a kill count
You can just tell he is SO frustrated that he couldn’t get a kill count out today and he’s upset about train to busan getting the strike. But we still love you James :)
kinda depressed my wife and I. Tremors is one of her very favorite films, and James is both of our favorite RU-vidrs. So to learn that he wasn't covering it personally was kind of a big blow. I'm sure it'll still be great, and still look forward to it. James wouldn't allow it to go up if he wasn't fully confident in Zoran to keep the spirit of the channel alive in the video.
@@deactivatedperson3759 pretty sure I commented on the kill count itself. We were pretty happy with it. He did a great job. Had us laughing out loud several times.
James is the one who actually made my nervous ass able to watch horror movies with my sister. I would watch the kill count to get a feel for how scary the movie was and then I’d watch them with her. It was honestly a great bonding experience for us and now we watch horror movies that haven’t even been covered here so thanks James!
James Thank you so much for your years of service.I subscribed to you when u ranked the Friday 13th movies.Ever since then your the cult leader and I'm your follower.Congrats on 5 Million!!
James: **Shows the Thankskilling collection** Me: You can't hide from the Killer Turkey forever James! It is your destiny! You're going to cover the Thankskilling 3 sooner or later! Lmao
I have to just throw out there that I love In Search of Darkness 1 & 2. I found the first one last year in quarantine. It helped me cope with the boredom and inspired me to deep dive into 80s horror. I had no idea who you were, but you really weren't that bad at all. That doc actually led me to your channel. Don't be so hard on yourself. It was all pretty good.
Man I wish there were more people into B movies and giallos, I would LOVE Kill Counts for that stuff. James, you GOTTA watch One Cut of the Dead, Joe Bob did an episode on it. So good.
Well this was a nice treat! Appreciate you showing us the collection! Also watched Train to Busan right before I watched the kill count and it is 100% worth it, the directors, writers and actors do a superb job at the movie!
When I was like 9 years old, I used to go to a dvd store with my mum from time to time, and if we were ever in/passing the horror section, I just stared at the covers thinking, "I wanna see that" Anyone else do that as a kid? 😂
This was a really good idea in place of a Kill Count. I know you guys agreed not to do home tours or anything super personal, and I respect that - but this is a really cool in-between, where we still learn things about you, but they are still related to the channel, and don't delve into your private life. Good content!
I really like when you do videos like this. It’s a nice pallet cleanser and it feels like we get to see the real you and not the persona you put on in front of the camera (hope that didn’t come off as rude). Looking forward to the podcast coming back too cuz it was nice to hear you and Chelsea just chill and talk about whatever the topic is that week.
Personally, that would drive me crazy because even though it’s meant to remind you which ones you’ve covered and which ones you haven’t, you still have to remember if you covered it so that you know what part of the shelf to look on while trying to find it.
Thanks for the tour and the energy! it is very appreciated and I love hearing a certain demon knight movie that may or may not be my favourite because of final girl jada pinkett smith!!
According to my friend who worked on the supplements for that new FRIDAY THE 13th set, THE BIG PLUS for that set was that the original cut for FRIDAY Part 2 was discovered with all its deleted scenes (one of the producers had actually kept an original cut before it was edited, so a lot of "forgotten footage" was suddenly available)
This was very fascinating and cool got me some recommendations to watch because i did catch ice cream man on tubi loved it so thanks for giving me new movies to watch James
Yeah, that's weird. I have a blu ray that contains Hellraisers 4, 5, 6 and 8, but Deader (7) is not in there, so I had to get it on dvd. I have no idea why they can't just put all these movies into a box set. Like, the Hammer Dracula and Frankenstein movies, I had to get separately, which was a pain. I'm sure there's rights issues and all that, but still. Why can't there be a whole box set of a series?
My collection is very much the same! Alphabetically and everything. I’ve been collecting since 2003, started with only horror but now have 950+ movies.
Omg Rubber! I remember watching it back when it was all the rage. My husband and I were watching it with our daughter, she was 2 at the time so it was way over her head but she loved it, it was hilarious watching her reaction. I still remember her laughing over the scene where the tire is showering.
"I can hide from Turkey from years" *And Welcome to another episode of "Comments that didn't aged well"* We will going to Enjoy your misery while covering Thankskilling 3 James Lmao
Behind the Mask is an excellent movie. I had the pleasure of watching it back when it first came out and knew nothing about it and was incredibly pleased with it.
I actually just finished the podcast episodes of paranormal activity, they’re really good I’d recommend everyone who can to listen to it!! It’s great stuff!
