Very enjoyable Keith, it's interesting to see that freight wise Stafford is not over run with container traffic like most others. And it was worth waiting for the tea lady to come back and reopen so that you could get your cuppa - it did seem a bit strange this it was closed yet they still had the board outside to say it was open.
Sitting in a b&b in ambleside watching my favourite you tube channel thank for the great video Keith like a nice malt to stay safe till the next time all the best 🚂🚂🚂🥃🥃🥃🥃
Hi Keith, great video! Funnily enough I was there a few days before you were and I hung around with the guy from Birmingham all afternoon, and your video was like watching my day all over again!
Thanks as always Keith for taking us on another interesting day out. I enjoyed Stafford on a number of occasions in the 1990s when visiting Telford for work from NZ, great place to watch the action. Cheers Martin in NZ
Despite not knowing what was due and when you as always managed to achieve "Continuity" Thanks Keith, glad to see you out and about enjoying yourself 👌👍
I felt for you at Trent Valley Keith breaking your journey for a cuppa you didnt initially get, delighted tou eventually did do! Well you found some really quality freights and very friendly spotters, well we all are really thats guaranteed of coarse! Loved this session and a priveledge yo take us with you! Take care, cheers Nick..
Another enjoyable video from Smile. Stafford is most probably the best place to go for freight and you were rewarded with plenty to see. Look forward to the next venture out. Steve
@@SMILEVIDEOTRAINS you are very welcome pal. When is your next video? I really enjoy them all. How is lady June getting on ? And a big hello to all of your family and David of course l.o.l.
Was worried about the blurred bit, but it all turned out fine(after the cafe opened!)and you had a good haul of freight to enjoy. The Wembley to Stafford ecs you were expecting would've been a Class 720 EMU on mileage accumulation, but they don't run every day - that DRS 66 was going to Wentloog I think.
okydoky;;;;;;;;;;;not been out at all since over a week ago when I went to Stratford, ended up visiting the doctor and now waiting for a hospital phone consultation. am perfect now and plan to go Scotland this coming Friday for the weekend. hope that you are keeping ok. Soon be stocking up for Christmas again. lol
Great video as usual Keith, some nice freight catches, hope you enjoyed that big iced thing (as you put it) at Lichfield and hope you survived the extreme heat this week.
Love the video Keith great shots of all the freight trains and the passenger trains I bet you enjoy meeting the other rail fans too I know that England is having one hell of a a heatwave there I hope that you are staying cool and drinking a lot of water too be careful and safe out there too
That was another good day Keith, I bought the the British Track Atlas a few months ago, so a make a point of following your journeys on the pages. Its good to see all the yards you pass. Keep it up. All the best, Alan.
hi keith thanks for a great video even if it was a bit blurred first thing lol. it has been a good day for freight locos today well worth coming out with you and the rest of the smile gang great to see you getting about hope David and Lady June are keeping well please keep the good work up and i look forward to the next video stay safe my friend
Yes we all pretty good thank you. Not been out during the hot weather but got loads of video in 'stock' waiting to be uploaded going back some 20 years. lol. thank you
Excellent video Keith. Plenty of freight I always think that Nuneaton and Stafford are the two best places for freights on the southern part of the WCML and you got plenty at both locations!
Another fantastic video Keith. I'm absolutely appalled by the number of freight trains hauled by diesels under the wires. Then they put on the side of the containers "Less co2"!!!
Keith, when a freight train has two locos do you know if they are linked so a single driver has control of both ? I can’t see how else it could operate effectively. Thanks for the video as always. Take care an enjoy your whisky 🥃
Quite a lot of freight trains and not a lot of passenger trains. This is what it's like filming trains in America, except all the freight trains would most likely be pulled by one company's locomotives.
Nice one Keith! The good thing about Railfreight these days that it's growing specially Gbrf there Expanding quite abit with new locos (class 69s) also bringing new flows Kent to the Grain Thamsport in November 2022 which hopefully will be good DB are trying to Expand new flow 6X10/6X11 Toton to Dollands moor and Colas are getting a new flow in Kent to Halling to Hoo junction. Drs are still the same not sure if they have new flows not sure if Freightliner has either but tbh Freightliner is pretty massive. But sad thing is that DB stopped running the Dollands moor to Scunthorpe flow. But freight on rails is growing slowly.
yes you are right. There is a great deal going on in the railway world and I love all the new liveries on both freight and passenger trains. take care and thank you.
Great video Keith and very interesting and the other railway spotters can you give me that guy 21 you tube please. The two DRS 66 and Intermodal Daventry too Mossend
I really hate graffiti 'artists'. They should be locked up for a week and made to paint thekr cells white, with a toothbrush. Be careful with all this heat, Keith.
