Doll Make Over Steps
Factory paint removed using acetone, then washed thoroughly with soap & water
Sealed with several coats of Mr. Super Clear sealer
Watercolor pencils: Derwent & Faber Castell
Soft Pastels: Schminke & Rembrandt
Various craft paints
Liquitex Gloss Varnish on eyes & lips
All over body blushing with soft pastels & sealed
Handmade costume & accessories

Thank you very much. This was very helpful. I have a girl gang of Blythe dolls. Theres just something about the Blythe. Ive been wanting to make obe look a little more bad ass, bratty. The disassembly was intimidating but this helped alot.

Gorgeous. Your dolls are amazing. What brushes and “paint” do you recommend? I’m using pastels but also have some colors from porcelain painting. Wondering if that would work. I might try them.
