It's not, you can see it attacking. He has it set to passive in general, but you control who your pet attacks via a keybind (or have it macro'd into Aimed Shot for example) and a keybind to call it back or move it. But it's also more important to keep it away from passive or AoE CC, letting you freedom/sacrifice when you need to. If that means your pet not attacking, that's fine. Pet doesn't do that much damage as MM.

More control over his pet, probably got a bind for pet attack so it attacks what he wants it to, same thing with pet positioning.

Look at summary at the end of the game. He outdamaged the DH.

details bug, seperating his pet damage on the meters. you see JB has 2 damage meters, number 2 and number 3, if you total them it beats dh damage
