Was at the last KARD show on their world tour, Houston. BM, Jseph, Jiwoo, and Somin were amazing. And we totally felt BM was in the moment. The show was lit. BM once said on one of the Dive podcasts episode that if he wasn't in the Kpop industry he'd want to be a counselor for teens struggling with substance abuse issues. As a therapist with almost 20 years experience and a GetReal listener, I just wanted to say that BM, I think you'd for real make a good counselor. You're a considerate, kind, and humble soul. As a fan who got into KPop because of KARD, Ride on the Wind and the album is FOREVER going to be one of the greatest of all time albums because you can see BM and the members really enjoy those songs because they really HAD FUN WITH THAT ALBUM! BM’s love for music faded a bit with JSPEH left and the struggle of DSP during Covid! It’s so INCREDIBLE to see him happy again

Listening to BM is refreshing. I find it very rare that a man can be this self-aware and can reflect and learn about himself. Most guys are unable or unaware of who they truly are or can admit to certain things. He's right about humility. It's important to step back and remember to be humble. Really enjoy watchung Get Real. They all are great hosts and like the topics they talk about.

BM is legit one of my favorite idols because he just doesn’t give a fuck. He gives off that “I grew up in LA” vibes so hard. As an American dude myself around his age, I’ve know so many people he reminds of just based off of how he acts. He just comes off as that dude you were friends with in high school who randomly checks up on you to see what you’re doing.

I'm a baby KARD and I saw them during Halloween at a concert and I genuinely hope they succeed and remain as a group cos they have dope music & dope vocals. BM's voice is really good and his rap style slays.

Talks with BM are always so humbling and practical in life advice sense. Such a great episode 🥲💜

For Ashley: It is odd that a person you've known for so many years feels discomfort and unwillingness to be more authentic with you (aka talk about more areas of their life such that you don't feel like they're hiding anything), but if they believe you'd be disappointed with things they've done recently (things they wouldn't have done long time ago), they'd rather not risk losing your attention even if it means witholding information or being on their best behavior with you. A meaningful friendship is more than exchange of attention and time, it's a combination of active and passive participation in another person's life.

I haven't watched the full episode, and I'm so enjoying it!, But i wanted to commend Ashley for cutting off BM when he said the "S" word. A lot of people who are not built to look as thin as the idol industry portrays can hear words like that and yes, be triggered into not eating properly (as someone who struggles with disordered eating and who isn't built small). So, thank you Ashley, from this fan of the show. 🥰🥰🥰

I'm aware that the show is called GET REAL but it always amazes me how real the talk really is. It feels like listening to a bunch of good friends, giving you advice, talking about their lives. Thank you so much for that!

I really love these four's dynamic. The way Ashley gives the best older sister advice, Junny gives the most innocent, sensitive-person perspective, Peniel throws the much needed humor & logical, almost-robotic POVs, while Matthew starts the most random, sometimes naughtiest topic mid-explanation. 😆 I also noticed how Matthew's seems more eloquent now, despite the few confusions he had in this ep lol probably from spending more time in the US. I really really just missed him. I'm so glad they let us have this full hour of OG Get Real happiness but also sad because there will be no more of BM next week. 🥲🏻

I think by showing your parents that you can be responsible, they will eventually trust you. Growing up, my parents was so protective, strict. The reason why I got a phone in a young age was to report everytime to my mom. After my dad dropped me at school, I will text my mother: Mom, I'm already at school. I text her at lunch, and when my father picked me up at school. I never hangout with my friends during weekends and summer coz I'm not allowed. And then I got used to it. It became NORMAL, but my friends tell me its not. After I graduated from college, I moved in the city on my own because I have to prepare for my licensure exam. I was thinking that time, are they going to allow me? My mom will probably live with me. So I really prayed a lot to get their approval. They really got no choice but to allow me. So I live alone for several months, but I always call and text them, and have to visit every weekend. Yes, every weekend. And then after passing the exam, I discussed them where I wanted to work. I really wanted to work in the city at that time. So I applied in a firm. The funny thing is, my parents accompany me in my first interview, and every time I have to go to the company in connection with my application, my mother was with me. Who else had the experience of tagging their parents to an interview? She really wanted to know the place where I will stay, talked to my landlord, introduced herself to my workmates. Then I got accepted, and I'm living away from home for years now. I go home at least twice a month. Call my parents when I have time. You cannot build trust over night, you really have to work on that.

I live in a country where K-Pop is not popular, so when I went through the mall last month and saw BM on this huge ad at one clothing brand store, it was quite a nice sight ^^

I hope he comes back regularly!!! His input was always unique and relatable!

I had so much fun at KARD's Brooklyn concert!! It was my first KARD concert and I totally did feel like BM and the members were having fun in the moment and feeding off of the audience's energy!!! (For real tho the venue was seated but it looked like a GA pit by the end - everyone was HYPED 😅) I'm so glad BM felt like he grew so much this year, both performance/tour approach-wise and personally

God I relate to ashley so much with the instagram thing, I'll open it and see someone I know posted 5-10 seconds ago and go thru an entire dilemma of "If I like this right away will they think ___ about me"

Hearing BM share how he had to reflect/examine himself so he could start working towards getting his group where they need to be reminded me of Jackson explaining why he works so hard because he doesn’t expect anyone to value his dreams and goals as much as himself because it’s his dream and not theirs. Loved the interview! I can tell BM has grown and matured while being away from get real and now he’s dropping some jewels to us listeners🙌🏻

This episode was kinda like made for me especially with the last entry , the situation is so similar , i'm 20 and the oldest aswell and my parents do everything for me, i'm never out on my own or experience things other people my age do, its kinda suffocating and now i don't really know what i want and what my purpose is anymore. Also i keep dissappointing them because i don't want what they want for me. Thank you for the advice especially this episode.
