What I like the most is how voicemeeter enhanced the audio quality of a cheap condenser mic. I think voicemeeter is excellent in transforming low quality audio into a more professional quality. I also have tried a sound enhancer on my PC called Breakaway, and it's just sounds amazing. I'm fond of processing audio on PC. Thanks for this video, it's very informative! I'm learning a lot from contents like this. Thanks sir! 👍
finally, out of all the reviews I've watched this one is the most detailed, other videos that I've watched is more on being with super extravagant positive reviews, thank you so much bro and goodluck sa twitch! subbed! you deserve much much more bro
@@macabascorenzjeric5456 Hi, slr, here is the link of the item where I bought it from: shopee.ph/product/35364345/7952086463?smtt=0.325429155-1605592548.9
I'm so glad to have found this video before purchasing the BM800 with the V8 soundcard! Such a life saver. Thank you so much for creating a series of video about it. It really helped me decide what I should buy depending on my sound/audio preference.
Great how you explain all the things that matter and showing the side-by-side comparisons in a short and informative video. Most other channels upload long, drawn-out word soup of a video just to reach the 10 minute mark which should only really take 5 minutes to show/explain.
Perfect timing. I was having second thoughts about the BM800 if I should get it with the phantom power or not. This video helped a lot for making my decision.♥️
Not sure if its just me or did anyone else notice a "grounding sound" when Norcla tested the BM-800 + Phantom Power + Voicemeeter + Plugged directly to the PC? It was quite irksome in a way. But over all... This is another great vid! Very concise indeed. Cheers!
Thank youuu! Pabili nako ng v8 tapos nakita ko ung isang video mo na nono ang v8 then naghanap pako ng ibang vids mo at napunta ako dito. Thank youuuu!
it's christmas today good thing na super metikoloso ako sa bibilhin kong gamit in terms of quality. ano pang tyaga ng ipon at hardwork kung makakabili ako ng below level of my expectations. i am a beginner musician and may napamaskuhan ako today sobrang eager ko na makabili kahit BM800 lang kasi yun lang ang kaya ng budget. gusto ko na magsimula thru covers since pandemic and i didn't go to online classes it's a waste of time i'd rather do what makes me happy while chilling. thank god i found your review it's a BIG HELP! thank you as well! merry xmas ❤
This guy is a genius, I really don't understand the world. We give more important glamorous creators instead of content creators who makes really useful contents.
Bruh just wanted to say you saved me from tearing my hair out from hours of stress with your bm800 and Voice Meeter tutorial. Just wanted to ask what your recommended phantom power is?
But dude i just bought a bm 800 and that phantom power....its better without phantom power....if i use the phantom...the sound was really bad...so im using bm800 without phantom
2:17 BM800 without phantom power (no post processing) 2:35 BM800 without phantom power (with post processing) 2:55 BM800 with phantom power (no post processing) 3:14 BM800 with phantom power (with post processing)
Really liking the content! Hoping you can provide more insights/reviews on other budget streaming microphones available here in the PH. Would like to hear your recommendations :) thanks and keep it up!
Hi Norcla! Are you aware of the issue with Voicemeeter and Discord? Apparently, with Voicemeeter, your voice in Discord would crackle and would sound robotic. I've been watching some tutorials on how to fix them but to no avail. I was wondering if you have experienced the same. Also, do you think it's okay to not use Voicemeeter anymore when I get a GoXLR mixer? Thank you! Great vid as always!
Its such a good starting mic as when you save up enough you can get a cheap but good audio Interface like The Behringer UM2 then when you save up more can upgrade to a new mic
Can I just say you have an awesome content? Really helpful. But I do have a question tho, my digital output is not showing in my voicemeeter I wonder why is that the case. Anyway, subbed!
Something is wrong with your phantom power? I have the same setup BM800+PP but the result quite nice. I mean, no buzzing sound at all. I used Voicemeeter banana too but that's just for making the voice sounds professional.
I liked Phantom Power before processed more than your processed Phantom Power sound. Maybe my taste in sound is just wrong, but most audio I hear from streamers and RU-vidrs today is crap, nothing like I would want my sound to be.
Your video help beginner to understand more about bm800. Still blurr. Bm800 hear own voice without headset. If add phantom power without headset can i hear my own voice
I was just wondering, why did u add +20 boost on raw and only +10 boost on processed audio? Does that produces better audio or u just personally added less when using VoiceMeeter?
Good day Mr. Norcla I notice that BM800 + Phantom power are the outstanding of them all. I just want to ask your opinion for what is worth. Because I'm planning to buy BM800 and Plextone GS3 or BM800 and Phantom power. So I want to know your opinion, what is better between the 2 Options?
The best sound for me was the one with phantom power, +70DB, +20 Boost, unprocessed/raw. Although there is still a little bit hiss but acceptable and the sound is less distorted. Although the next one, the one with phantom power, +70DB, +10 Boost, routed to voicemeeter, there is a low frequency feedback. Is it really natural bruh?
@@NORCLA Yeah. That's why I really put it out there 'cause I actually thought the low freq feedback was natural to the voicemeeter. Overall, the video was really helpful man. Keep it up! 👍
@@tresemusika No, it's not supposed to add that. Usually things are added to the signal chain because of physical factors (e.g. Cable, interference, etc.). Thanks for the support and glad I helped!
No, you can't send phantom power through a balanced TRS(which im assuming you mean) connection, only over XLR connections. Sidenote do not attempt sending 48v through xlr to mini audio jack I've seen a phone get fried, lol.
What about recording from a smartphone? Does it work as well? I have a condenser mic(not BM800) and an audio splitter already. Still thinking if I could use the phantom power to fully utilize the recording experience
Yes, in a way. If your cable quality is terrible then it will likely result in noise. Take note that super expensive cables also do not improve quality that much. Also make sure not to run your cables along powerstrips/sockets/power cables because that will introduce interference.
Thanks so much for this. I have a question. I've seen a friend use the BM-800 for recording audio with a smartphone using I think was an audio splitter. Any thoughts about that? Also can the phantom power be used too if I'm recording audio using a smartphone? Cheers for 2K subs!!!
Norcla! Could you review the Maono AU-PM 320s? I haven't seen any Filipino reviewing it and I'd really like to know your opinion about it. Thank you and Godless!
How to listen voice with no delay? Without using any audio interface. Im using condenser mic with 3.5mm jack and built in usb cable to powered it. Thank you.
Hmm, I actually prefer you talking with just the phantom power + raw -- I think you're using too much bass in this vlog? Question: is it advisable to use phantom power with V8?
Please answer the above because I swear there was a video you put up that convinced me you don't need phantom power and when I got my Mic all I could hear was that damnable hissing
Actually the sound without the phantom power is more clearer or good that's maybe you have a good motherboard and the sound card of that motherboard is good maybe?
