Answering the "Why did they abandon the Lackawanna Cutoff, after building two of the world's largest Railroad Structures to create it," led to some very diverse places.
The Lackawanna Cutoff, aka, the "New Jersey Cutoff" is the sister to the one in Pennsylvania, with even larger "world's largest" structures. They are still in use, we are happy to say.
