Hello! I like your video. Dos the lumix 25mm has auto focus and focus continuous with black magic 4k?

I see you bought yourself a new camera. It would be nice to compare such frames with a conventional video camera such as the G50.

Yes - I am always looking to expand my capabilities and abilities both in audio and video production. This camera certainly is an upgrade over anything I have used in the past. While I no longer own a Canon VIXIA HF G50, I do own a Canon VIXIA HF G60 and a Canon XF400. Those both have 1" sensors. I also still have one of my all-time favorites, the Sony FDR-AX53 which has a 1/2" sensor. I can run tests with all of these. Once I get a little better with the BMPCC4K I will get to running some comparisons.

@@BrianBuckalew Cameras like the G60 in general cannot be replaced by other cameras, in cameras of the G60 class the shooting possibilities are slightly different, you can take more interesting shots from some kind of vacation, and the Black Magic is more for static shooting, in a studio for example. But it is interesting, for example, and comparison in the same studio. Of course, in terms of lowlight on F1.7 optics, black magic will win, but this is if you check the extreme lowlight, and when shooting under normal lighting conditions in a studio, it would be interesting to see the comparison, or walk along the street.

I will definitely do some side-by-side comparison shots on the very near future. The BMPCC4K is much more than “static” camera, although it does work well in that arena. I have used it very successfully on both a Zhiyun Crane and Crane 3S. The Camera Gyro data that gets imprinted into the BRAW metadata makes it very useful as a handheld too if the footage is not too shaky. But again, I certainly agree with what you are saying about it being very good as a static camera for indoor shots.

@@BrianBuckalew It is also interesting to try turning off the noise reduction completely in the g60. There, in the firmware that came out 2 years ago, the option to set the noise reduction was added. It's interesting to turn it off in good lighting, I don't know how the noise reduction works in the g60, but usually it's something like a blur filter that noticeably spoils the picture, maybe in the G60 as well, and by turning off the noise reduction the picture can be even better.
