@@brandon_30ff Really depends on the Dyno but real world number I would say 550/575. I could push the turbos harder but it could shorten the life of the turbo if you push them to 600 wheel horsepower. Again, Dynos are subject too many variations with regard to brand and calibration. so as you see people post information about what their car is making on a specific Dyno, take that information with a grain of salt. I'm personally more interested in seeing the 60-130 mph times.
I've just bought an e90 with FBO and upgraded turbos. Is there much benefit to getting a custom tune if I don't want to run ethanol? It's hard to get where I live, so using 98ron fuel is easiest.
@@TheSpeedAddiction absolutely, I have the car in the garage, I have spent about $1,500 so far on parts to bring it back to life. I'll probably post a video thursday a little walk around.
Nice car bro..I have a silver 135i with MMP1KS..Theses cars are so much fun with that kind of power..I love it how I can just drive to track and run 10s. And drive back home..no need for trailer. Good job keep up content
Nice video! Just got my pure 600’s yesterday. VRSF inlets and outlets and a stage 2 fuel pump from precision race works. New index 12’s new valve cover all new gaskets and fbo’s
My N54 has wastegate rattle at 86k miles. I want to go fbo but not sure if I should have that money go towards upgraded turbos instead. Any idea how long stock turbos last with the rattle?
It’s hard to say how long they will last. My original set of stock turbos lasted 60k miles before the wastegates stopped holding boost. You need FBO before you upgrade your turbos regardless.
I have had my wastegate rattle on my stock N54 turbos for about 8 months. I daily drive it. I’m at 107,000 miles and I’ve had wastegate rattle since 95,000 miles. I’m currently using my money to maintain my car and slowly saving up for the Pure 600s. My opinion is to go FBO and make you’re that you have no oil leaks and maintenance up to date. The stock turbos still perform well with wastegate rattle. You might get a boost leak code once in a while but it’s nothing major. Driving with no A/C helps keep the rattle noise down lmao
PiggletV Thanks for the advice. I actually just got the car a few months ago and it does have an oil leak I’m about to check out and I’m going to have a shop replace all the known failure gaskets and do the spark plugs, injectors, walnut blast and what not before I install the good stuff 👍🏼
Wow! I just did the exact same upgrade last month!!! All the same bolt ons as well except for IC! What fuel are you running? I'm currently running 91 with JB4 and MHD BEF but plan to run e30 once I finish getting things dialed.
Are there any parts that are worth deleting or changing to keep the engine healthy? Like swirl flaps on diesel’s and ofc new air intake. But other than that?
The N54 was built to handle boost. The common bolt ons described in the video are all that’s required ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9gtZhuDpauw.html
Speed Addiction - do you have a follow up video of the Pure 600? Im really contemplating between the 600, the Pure DD version ,MMP and the Dynamic Autowerks. Too many options and so far never read of any of them having issues.
Great vid. Lv the clean and simple look and stance of ur whip!!!! Can you please tell me what suspension mods you’ve done, wheel and tire package, and the name of the lip spoiler in your video, thanks in advance
Koni Sport Shocks/Struts with Swift Spec -R Springs. Ikon Motorsports front lip. Breyton Race GTS-R wheels 7.5” front 8.5” rear. Dinan Camber Plates, E93 M3 front swaybar with HP Autosport end links. Dinan rear shock mounts and Whiteline rear subframe inserts. If I were to do it all over again, I’d get KW V2 coilovers and M3 rear subframe bushes
I just ordered the tune for my 335i. Still waiting to actually do the work... Have the same update)mods. Do m can u update this video with Dyno? Great video
The Speed Addiction Yes. I’m guessing you probably built on top of some existing mods ? I’m just trying to get an idea of the $ commitment once I decide to go down that road.
The Speed Addiction Thank you again for the reply and the video. Keep it up ! Do you think you’ll ever look at mods for the 650i (I have one). I know it’s a GT, but I like power...
Thanks for the video. I’m seriously considering these for my FBO e90 n54 and have been waiting for someone to finally review the Pure600’s. Very interested to see what kind of numbers you put down and on what fuel. Thanks again! IG @blue335i_n54
