The Speed Addiction yes sir. My father and I have a full bolt on, and upgraded turbos on a 335i sedan. But I want another! We are stoked for another build! Thank u for the heads up!
Great video. I got my pure600’s installed and i can relate 100% with things needing to be replaced. Think my hpfp is on its way out, but i got ken to tune it for me. Vechile is less than 50% WGDC and is hitting 18.7psi from 4k-redline. Which is awesome, perfect reliable tune i was looking for
The Speed Addiction yes sir, i drive 80 miles a day so Reliability is key for me. I will also be doing a e50 tune and bumping it up to 22 psi. But first i need to fix whats going on with my car, hopefully it is the high pressure pump. Considering its the only fuel related component i havent replaced
@@TheSpeedAddiction Well worth the investment in a dragy. Helps take out the placebo effect with mods. I think you'll find the MPH guys do 60-130mph and the kmh guys do 100-200kmh. Dragy records both times which is handy.
Damn that shit is beast boi, good job, great vivid I’m still waiting on mine too ship out. The only downfall about Pure is the lead time, but I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait.
@@TheSpeedAddictioni think this is the path I'm going with my FBO 135i. Pure 600 is plenty power for me instead of DAW stage 4 or Single T. Other than what you mentioned on the video did you have to change your coils and injectors. What about cooling system upgrade? You think the 5 inch aftermarket intercooler is enough for 550-600whp? Thanks and very nice write up.
Awesome video mate. I also installed pure 600 turbo on my n54 nd was tuned on 93 pump gas. Boosting 21-23psi. Was wondering how much whp my car is making.
I have an 09 135i with 44k original miles & pure 600 turbos. Those brakes are brembo 6 piston from calipers. Put stainless lines throughout the car and run vented rotors. The 2 piece billet hat ones from ECS are amazing. Do that & fluch out the fluid. Those calipers can handle a lot!
I had upgraded Cool Carbon pads and Motul RBF 660 fluid. It had great stopping power initially, but after a few minutes of hard canyon driving (multiple repeated breaking from very high speeds), the pedal would go soft and the calipers would start to smoke. Its due to the pistons in the caliper overheating. The cooling properties of the caliper are not great and it takes a toll on the pistons. That's why the 1M has the same brakes as the E92 M3.
@@TheSpeedAddiction Those are garbage! You gotta do stainless lines, vented rotors & you'll be all set. Especially if you spend the money on the two piece rotors with billet hats...👍🏼🏁
@@TheSpeedAddiction Put cool carbon pads on & those rotors with stainless lines through out! They sell the titanium pins too! You'll be fine after that!
@@TheSpeedAddiction Oh you got the cool carbon pads. Yeah the heat is coming from the rotor. It gets so hot it transfers to the caliper. Buy those two piece rotors and stainless lines and watch the difference! Those floating calipers suck on the 1M. That car is no faster than a regular 135i. What 5 More H.P. ATW's. I'm running 535+H.P. at the wheels. I love my breaks...👍🏼🏁
I sold the car a couple of years ago. It made 510 whp on a dynojet. There’s another review of a 135i convertible with pure 600 turbos on my channel. Check it out.
Whats that loud squealing noise while spooling up your hearing? I just purchased a 135i n54 stage2+ mhd with pureturbos thats making that noise and a few people told me its not normal?
@@TheSpeedAddiction if you mains are squealing then you are putting too much crankcase pressure into your engine, and need a PCV upgrade to seal the intake ports to crank case to prevent that from happening, OR simply block it off entirely and use a check valve system plumbed to the intake.
24 psi, Pure Turbos Pure 600 turbos, MHD custom tuned by Wedge Performance. No LSD but it desperately needs one :-). Check out the previous 135i video (March 2020) for more info..
I have the XHP Stage 3 flash with the shift speeds at their fastest settlings and the torque limiters removed. I also have a Burger Motorsports transmission cooler.
My car was a 2009, with a N54 engine. N54 135is were made between 2008-2013. The LCIs were made from 2011-2013 and they have the newer N55 engine. The model years I quoted are for US spec cars..
@@TheSpeedAddiction thanks I’ve have been trying to decide what I want to get and now I have decided. I will start looking for a 2009 135i with the n54 and the auto. Love the car you have built and hopefully one day I can have one like it! 👍
Please do your research on the things that fail on the N54 and how much it costs to fix them. They are getting older and more expensive to maintain. Also catastrophic failures are getting more common. If you value reliability above outright power, I suggest the newer N55 cars.
