i got this bmw model, but i tuned it simple, there is one electronic diesel plug, you just have to unplug that cable, it's about engine motion control, if you do that the engine will take longer to start when is cold and a bit of vibration, but it flies.
Do you believe 237hp 460nm is too much for this engine ? I achieved that with a GT1756, Firad injector tips 50%, IC XXL and reinforced clutch, but I’m afraid it’s too much power for this engine
@@mengineeringtech3681 thanks for the reply. I got p593 and need to shorten the needle. Did you get it close to 210 bar for all 4 injectors? Or how big was the opening pressure difference between them?
@@madalinapacala3564 Because of old injectors and manual grinding some variation for sure. Needle lengths varied something like +-0.01mm, but driveability good although engine sounds rougher than original at low RPM.

not really, your E46 have an "upgraded turbo" and a better diesel injection system so yours can easly achieve 130KW, but in my opnion the only thing his e46 needs is a better turbo, like from the E46 330D with that he should easily reach 155+ KW, but the clutch wont like it
136 hp version doesnt have plastic valve heads witch break pretty easy on the 150 hp version ... and its a bit safer for modifying... course its a bit slower but it still drives gr8
