@@SimpleSickBuilds also. If you wanna do something cool and colorful I suggest taking off the wind guard that pops up when you open your sun roof. It comes off with 2 screws. Super easy. I have a 328i 2015 (mineral grey) and painted mine golden yellow. Looks really cool imo.
Quick question, I'm in the process of installing it, installed the 2 side screws, but middle is hanging right now, tried screwing in the middle screws with just a screwdriver, and is nearly impossible, as there's no premade holes
@@shawndegamer5366 you are meant to drill 3 there screws in the middle where indicated in the splitter, there is no hole in the middle of the car, only the 2 on the sides. The kit should included a double sided tape, use it to keep the splitter in place while you drill the screws in. You can do it by hand but that what would require patience and muscle, I'd recommend borrowing a power drill from a friend and use it to drill the screws in.
I'm getting one of these lips for my car too. You should just vinyl wrap those plastic inserts - wont show the chips as bad because vinyl has some healing properties. Either that or use a proper clear coat.
I know this was 2 years ago, but the fun thing is im in the same situation like you at 3:15 , I started lookinf for a front lip for my f30 and my mirror caps and rear spoiler are carbon fiber ones, but I think I will also go with a simple gloss back front lip because the carbon one wouldn’t hold up well on eastern european roads
Nice vid👍🏻The front silver bits are called either 'Fog light trim' or 'canards' at least here in UK hope that helps. Been looking for some too as the silver looks awful on these cars😂😭😂😭 But defo need a front spilter/skirt too as car looks awesome😍
@@schris_f30 if you go to a wrapping place they'll take em off for you and should only take like 10min at most for wrapping. Using a card could help to take them off :) I took one of mines off but took time since didn't wanna snap it...I'd say same difficulty as taking mirror caps off honestly.
