Ok i learned a lesson the hard way today, DO NOT overtorque the plugs like i did... it will cause wild mis-firing. bmw recommends 18 ft-lbs which is basically just snug plus a hair of pressure

About 20ft lb. I usually just give it a good snug and never had a problem, cause you don’t want to over tight it and it help if you use some high temp anti-seize on the spark plug threads so it be easy to take out next time. You don’t have to use the anti-seize but some people prefer it.
I have a question my son has a bmw and every time he has to chance the Coils its been 6 months and he has change 4 times a coil what makes this problem to happen? Toyota guy asking
