Got mine but used oem gasket and upgraded metal pcv in it and is all good 👌

So glad i found this. Heck of a deal on an aluminum valve cover that has perfect fitment. No need to worry about a cracked VC anymore.

Been running it with that provided gasket. No issue at all. I used to be scared of stuff like that too but as long as you inspect things properly beforehand, all good. I also do a ton of research of where things are produced, etc as well. Engineer in me says approved, we put it on. One thing I didn't like that I had bought before was helix overdrive, one drift event and I could tell that thing was gonna cause me problems in the long run. Took it off track side and sold it to a normal street car guy.

Our new plastic unit with gaket leaked after a year. Found all the bolts came loose. Simply retorqued and she was good.

Need to do a valve cover replacement myself. Thinking about getting an aluminum one (since they're cheaper than OEM). How has this held up over the past year?

I used an aftermarket gasket when i did mine and 10k miles later its leaking it was leaking before to I think that my valve cover might just be bad it the original mahle bmw plastic one

Did you put the little plastic sleeves on the new bolts i’m not sure what to do ?

Need a review on this ASAP! Thinking of pulling the trigger for my 535i xdrive! I heard the other non n54 models leak so I’m not sure about this

What does the turbo get in the way of? it seems like the downpipe is more in the way than the turbo would be

Hi. How it is holding now? No issue with oil seperator? Is the oil seperator diaphram is replacible?

What Torq did you go with for the bolts

How often will the bolts loose itself? Once? After warm first time

I run one and they are good

How is the valve cover holding up ?

The aftermarket are better seals, because the ones from factory always leaks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
