What was your reason for looking at this video? I’ve got a f10 520d touring I’m new to her had the E61 before so I’m getting my bearings with the new car. Noticed a slight squeak from steering from cold, so I’m working through the checklist. Just interested to get your thoughts.
idk what is wrong wiht my servo system. after the car gets warm my steering wheel feels for a really short period of time harder while turning.. but this just hapens when the engine is at 90 degree... i already changed the servopump cuz i lost there Servo fluid-- and my problem still isnt solved im sad
Hello! I have 2 indicators on the stick : - 20°C (68°F) - 80°C (176°F) How can I make sure to put the right amount of oil ? Should I fill up beteween the two ? Thanks!
Why is the acceptable level such a big secret!? No mention here and damned if BMW sees fit to list in the manual. That had to be on purpose. All the dip stick says is 80 and 20C. That's about as worthless as tits on a bull.
Well, the fluid expands with temperature. Therefore, the bar labeled 20°C is where the level should be at when the fluid is cold and the one labeled 80°C is where it should be when it's hot. It's not THAT complicated, is it? :-)
@@tommasopasserindentreves9345 that is what I thought it meant, but I always will verify my assumptions especially since I have an issue with the rack and it above the the 80 degree line all the time. I'd be damned if any of the manuals mention this tho. It's not even readily found on the web.
Thats exactly how not to do it. Why mix old and new fluid and create a mess? You don't put new tea into old tea? You wash the cup and drain old tea in the sink.... That must be an American way of doing things.
