Friend of mine had a 735i new in around 1990, we felt like King’s driving around in that. Was a totally different time. In those days just having a BMW was a big thing. It could be a 518 or even a 316, it still had respect
@@albertkelly7129 ye but this candy right here the e32 7 series (90s) are still bussin, they don’t have that much electronics, definitely more reliable and sturdier than modern day cars which are full of plastic, they sound great are classy.
This retro style video is pure gold! The sounds, animations and music throughout the entire thing... just wow! It's like I'm watching James Cameron's '79 Alien, but about an E32 BMW.
That's why I love the 90s and late 80s. Basically every feature we use nowadays in cars were already avaliable, and the cars looked so good, inside and outside too.
This 7 Series was no joke. Many advancements in automotive technology came on this car. I'm not sure what year this video is from or what model year they are talking about. I know the first car to ever have HID Xenon headlights was this model E32 750i and iL.
It's cool to see where the systems in my F10 come from. Amazing how far back they go and how today it's just apart of the car and not even thought about.
bimosalexandres that’s right it was E38 and let me tell you something else. The first car ever in which a GPS has been mounted was an E38...it was something out of this world at that time!!
Indeed, nowadays cars are 90% chinese wires. I own a 1988 audi coupe quattro with almost all original electronic equipments, cars back then were simpler and made to last. Also all pre 1992 cars have a certain charm to them that new cars simply does not have
All bullets richochet, you shoot me down, but i get up,i'm bulletproof nothing to lose fire away, fire away, you shoot me down, but i won't fall,i'am titanium,my father has 2 e32,one 730i has 382142km and second one 735i has 464186km and still pulling like hell ,he said that he will never sell them, ever maintained by genuine parts, masterpiece of german engineering.
E38 E39 got their technology from this car being it modernized and revised versions. like the ESC TSC and check control. The E32 750i was the first ever car to have xenon headlights in 1991
The ASC determines how bad the driver is, and wonder where the driver got it's licence. Seriously, who needs these assistance systems? Why not just ease the throttle?
Actually a system like the ASC (ESC) can make it much more difficult to get out of snow when you´re stuck. I´m not saying it´s optimal to let the wheels spin at full speed when you´re stuck in snow, but sometimes i feel - that on cars where ESC / ASC / ESP can not be deactivated - the electronics limit the rotation of the wheels too much - hence that makes it much more difficult to get out of snow when you´re stuck.
@@Hafiz_G_Lumber_1 I've seen more rust bucketed bmws than corollas around my area. Now if you were to bring up a volvo, then my argument would be as dead as an item. Also what class? Those 10eur that the manufacturer invested in sound deadening? Or maybe it was those little bmw badges scattered around the car? Ever heard the saying - class isn't bought, it's built?
Guys, someone offered me this car for less than $700.. Should I get it? Hahah.. I still haven't check the condition of the car though, but the spare parts here for old bmw is quite hard to come by
driver gets bag face while passenger gets broken neck. Thanks BMW! normal in Europe back then. just get another girlfriend after crashed into wall at 100kmh
