Hello, I had the same thing on my BMW, hard to know without disassembly. Default on the original cooler ...

did you replaced with new egr cooler or used one? how much?

replaced it with used egr cooler...2.5 d engine egr cooler and it is little shorter but working ok

I have the same problem I change 2 egr coolers for 3 months. Somebody who knows why ?
