BMW 850CSi catches fire after huge crash!
Hello guys and welcome to another video. Yes, this one is a bit different, but let me explain..
The reason I sat this model on fire was because OttOmobile told me to do it. The BMW was faulty (paint issues) when I received it, and I messaged OttOmobile because I wanted a new one. They told me that they wouldn't accept the return, so they wanted me to destroy the model and send a picture of the broken model before they could send a new one.
It was sad but fun at the same time doing this. Wondered how a resin model would burn compared to diecast.

Perhabs it was a translation mistake :-D I am sure they only wanted to see a picture of the paint issues ;-) I am curious about their reaction on this video if you'll get a new 850 CSI - keep us updated ;-) But perhabs it was no mistake - I mean if you sent the foto of the paint issue and if they are sending a new one and want to make sure that you don't have two models of it - then this can be of course a solution :-D

wow, a company asking you to destroy a model and post pics as proof before they send you a replacement? ...im at a loss for words. i've never heard any manufacturer ask this from their customers until now, and wheres the guarantee the replacement will be flawless? i almost preordered an e39 back in dec from them but now i think i will avoid them entirely. i think i'll just stick to ck who has a great returns policy, even tho they dont stock any good ottos.
