Tired of listening to the radio or a CD player? Wouldn't it be nice to stream music or watch youtube using your car's audio system without costing you a fortune?
This is the video for you!
Learn how to code the AUX-in to your BMW.
It should work for any CCC units made from 2004-2008 and not just the E6x series...
Also includes a tutorial on how to default reset/factory reset a module the correct way and pre-requisites for it.

Please help. The first step is done with the manipulation profile, but the second step does not show me the host files and several more. My radio is radio mask. When starting ncs expert mode. Do I choose the default reset profile and then what do I choose to follow?

I just got 2005 bmw 530i and aux is coded but when they install the aux cable, I can’t select aux from the screen. It’s show but when i click it, not happens and there’s no sound. Please help

How can we default it to Aux. It appears it keeps going back to Radio and doesn't stick to Aux.

One of the best videos of description I've seen. I am in the situation of changing my MASK single DVD-player with no navigation to a CCC unit with navigation from another vehicle. Sure enough, it apparently comes from an E60 and I have an E61 with hydraulic tailgate and that option is obviously not showing up on the screen. So... is the best way to read in (to NCSExpert) the FA and code back the same FA disregarding the fact that Pro Navigation will not be available but everything else will be and later activate the Pro Navigation at a later time?

Hi, you could try to manually code the head unit, since you need a proper Icom to write the VIN to it and default reset afterwards, the best option would be to do it manually. See my other video how to code the aux in manually, use it as a guide, it will be much simpler to activate it in the module itself, also you can activate the chirp(makes the sound when locking and unlocking the car) it's in the same module. But first remove(delete) the $606 option and add $609 (CCC professional navigation) then hit Back, choose CAS Change Job to FA_write->Execute job. When job done choose LMA make sure Job is the same(FA_write) hit Execute. This will permantly save the vehicle order in both modules. Then close the NCS the. Open again. Chose Manipulation profile and once you see the list of the modules CAPPL(or close to that) will be listed. It's the one you need to access and the enable the function you need in order to activate the option in the ncsdummy. P. S. Since you have ccc also activate the increased aux in gain in caudi module (everything is in my other video)

Hello! I have already coded aux but there is problem with sound quality, almost no bass and max volume! I already changed aux cable to bluetooth adapter and still the same problem! Radio and cd sounds 2x better! And i cant find any information about this problem, maybe you can help! It can be a software problem?🤔

Hi have e60 and my champs failed so I got used one from a car and now I have no sound. Is there a way for me to code the stereo to program it ?

You would have to use ISTA P it would be much easier as the audio wise the donor car came with different audio system. VIN number would have to be changed and then SG_codieren with default reset profile. You can try to check if the donor unit has a HD written on it. If so I am suspecting A VO would have to be changed from S653A High Definition Radio to S663A Radio BMW Professional then on a mask/mask2 with a Reset profile do a SG_codieren fallowed by SG_reset. If it doesn't work you should be able to read the file and look for audio settings, try different options under it using manipulation profile. In worst case I can remotely connect to the car. Check my other video about manually coding the aux-in it would be similar what you would have to do to get the sound back.

Hello, thanks to show us how to do. I have BMW e60 530d 2004. I bought the Android 10; CCC system . I followed all the steps you explained. And in the minute 6:25 i have " expertenmodus" but not "expertenmodus werkseinstetung, its different?. And in the minute 6:59 i cannot see the details you showed, more specificaly the letters CHOST and some others that also do not appear in my screen CAPPL; CGAT our CHOST. Please help me to have AUX IN. Thanks

Hi, sorry for a late reply. You only need to code the ccapp for aux in and caudi for a increase of volume in aux in line. The rest of them should be fine. Any issues, give me a shout.

Hey thank you so much for the video. I brought a little box called aux activator "pemp" and the aux option showed up in 2004 BMW 645ci but I notice that the bass is somewhat non existent what could be thr issue? Thank you for your time and patience

Hei, thanks for the comment. Did a quick Google search, looks like it's a bypass unit of some kind, it will not have a great audio quality as you already noticed. If you go to audio settings on your iDrive you should be able to adjust the base, try to increase it, it might work a little bit better. If not then I would suggest to just get the aux cable on it's own and code it in, it will have a better audio quality. My other video explains how to code the aux in volume adjustment so it's not so quiet.

@@HomeAmongTheWise regarding the coding. Pretty much everyone who diagnose the bmws would have a tools to do that. Search on Facebook or something, I'm am pretty sure you will find somebody. AUX gain can be coded in, it increases the volume. Quality wise cable and a good quality Bluetooth module works best. In Spotify for example sound quality can be changed to high quality, it helps as well.

Hi, check if the cable is actually working by plugging in something else beside one phone. Most likely it's a cable issue..

If we have an aftermarket screen that has apple car play do we just need to code the aux then its plug and play without the aux cable? I have a 2004 Bmw e60 Thanks in advance

Hi, it too sure, but I think it will be already included in a kit as a wiring harness. It(aux) only needs to be activated so you can hear sound coming from the aftermarket screen. Otherwise it won't work, no sound will be played. Just aux needs to be coded.

My CCC ist broken in e60 and I replace it by Mask1 (because I already have it) and android headunit. I want to check which modules I can activate in the car. Any suggestions how I can identify the installed modules in the car? One example is, I have active seats and I want to activate them in mask. Aux is also a must for Android. Also how do I know in which SG i have to write a FA? In your video you did it for CAS and LMA. What about FRM? In your video you just did the FA for AUX. In other videos they changed some code lines: From unmount to Mount AUX and input_scale_sub2 value from 1 to 2. (I hope this is the correct naming) Also can I reset the the SGs in my car like you? I'm scared that I brake something because I have aftermarket headlights Pls help🙏🏻

For module identification you need to open the INPA->E60->functionalJobs->F3 UIF-userInformation) and there is another option under F2 it shows you all the modules in one list. Then open NCS exper with manipulation profile and once you click on CAS or LMA all the available modules should be shown. The unmount and mount is for a second aux in at the boot, but i haven't seen anyone using it beside me. If you have a LCI then LMA is called a FRM, so there should be two options listed CAS & FRM instead of LMA. Google. How to use NCS dummy, as long as you save the file as a backup before you change something in it, you should be ok. Just make a backups I Hope It helps.

On a plug x13183 Pin 2 Aux Left, Pin 7 Aux Right, Pin 8 Ground/shield. After you connect the cables check if the sound is actualy coming from left or right channel, as deppending on the plug it self and where you bought it fom the sound channels might might be mixed so its easier to re-pin if the cables are stll accessable. I bought it from wish, it didn't came with instructions.

Hi, almost, if not all of the android systems require you to have the aux in coded in in order to have the sound coming from it. You don't have to install the aux in cable as I think, all the units come with a adapter cable that has some kind of wired connection to android unit in order to produce system sounds. In short : you need to code in the Aux in, in order to listen to Spotify or youtube for example.

How to update ccc unit to the latest version please? I have ccc from 2003 with no gps. Can i put gps on it ? Thank you

Icom with a MOST adapter is needed to update the CCC and the modules. also, a power supply is needed as it usually takes a long time if the software hasn't been updated. I would suggest an Android unit instead. More up to date and screen resolution is much better. you would have to pay a lot of money for a CiC retrofit but I would go for an android unit.

Hi, the map itself is is updated with the latest version of a navigation maps, it's a 2019 version. I've seen a 2020 and 2021 being sold but bmw stopped supporting the maps for CCC in 2019 and it is the latest version available. Software on the Ccc can only be updated with with IstaP. If you can find somebody in your area who can code the bmw most likely he should have necessary knowledge and tools to update the car/modules as well.

What if I replaced my ccc box for another one from a e60 and my car is a e90 everything works , I just can’t use my aux as it’s greyed out do I have to take it to the dealership and have them recode this or ? Thank you

Hi, did you had aux before it was retrofitted from another car? If not then you have to physically install it. If you already have it you can manually code it in. Watch my other video how to do it manually. Best thing would be for you to find somebody who does the coding/programming and say to him what you wrote here. Dealer's will charge silly money for simple things but they don't do coding(almost all of them)

Hello mate. My old CCC unit went down (no audio and no image) so I replaced it with a used unit from a different E60. Everything works but there is no sound. Do you think changing the VIN on the new unit to my VIN will fix the sound issue? Note = even the chime from the door open/close is not working.

Hey, you need to manually code the unit. If you have an ICOM that would be quite easy to do and a proper way but since the ICOM costs some money manual coding would be much better option for you. More on manual coding is explained in my other video. Basically you will need to code the audio settings to a hi fi as I suppose the unit came from the car with an amp/logic7 etc. Once you have the option enabled you should have a sound straight away, also the "chirp" is coded in the CCAPP . i messed up my E60 with one of the Amazon scanners and doing the retrofit command on CON, CCC, APPS and so on....now i've lost my sound and i drive controller knob does not register the rotary function but the arrows work so bascially cannot use idrive. I've tried replacing CCC and sound works but i dont have the features that are stock in my car ie AUX, CD SAT. so can this work for me to rewrite the my old CCC to default settings? which ECU is for the controller on NCS Expert? Thank you sir

Hi, so you replaced your CCC from another car? If so it would need to be programmed to your car. You could manualy code the settings on each module to suit your car, it is possible to do this way but it's time consuming. What kind of bundle did you bought?

@@BimmerShedNIso I got them to work following you step by step but the modules SIM/SGM, RDC, ASK, DWA, ANTTU, MOSTGW, MMI/CCC, BZM/SZM, CID, KLIMA and CCC all have yyyyyyyy for VIN. What other ECUs do I need to do the FA Write to get them read the vin?

Nice work, works perfect. BUT, why AUX does not stay on, after every tim i fire up my bmw, it defaults to radio, even if i have something installed to aux cable ?

@@tomi3788 Never disabled radio and I wouldnt rather as something could bug out. And for AUX it never comes back on automatically you gotta select it manually or make a shortcut to click it faster

Hey, What year and model is your bm? Make sure you are not choosing "back" when it says "change module" or change job it might be one step back too far.

@@terryho8126 had a chance to look into this. If it gives you an error it's most likely an option that can't be added you your car. What you can do is manually code the aux in. Instructions is on my other video "manual aux in coding for e60 ccc Idrive with input gain adjustment. Aux in coding will be the same parameter, but if you have a MASK unit you have to select it and then search for" aux in" option. I hope it helps

Without your reset profile, what should we do? Should we change the job to SG_Reset ?

I just renamed the longest profile "(worken something)" to Biotoxic. You can change it to your name as well. If resetting the module you need to use the the "factory profile" with SG_codieren otherwise it won't work

Make sure you have option $609 for a navigation professional in the FA. If for example you are missing Cappl or Caudi then it means a MASK is added to the FA list... Or you mean when you select the profile as Default reset chost is not showing up in a list?

Yes, it's in my other videos. This is just to show if you manually add the codes to the vehicle order and write them to the CAS and LM then reset the modules, the coding for the specific option is added and coded when the module is SG_codieren in factory mode. If a istap is connected and the vehicle order is not there, istap will disable the coding if a particular module needs programmed or coded. Less hustle down the line so to say.

@@nataliegewargis7550 not too sure what it is, but aux_in needs to be set to aktiv. Can be done manually, but it's best to add +NAUX to vo/SA as well, if its not done and car is taken to a dealership or somebody who doesn't know what he's doing. Aux in will be disable if any coding/programming will be done to the CAPPL.

Check the cable as it's most likely the pins are incorrect, had happened quite a lot of times.

Should be slightly different as I think you might have a Mask2 unit. If so you still need to add +NAUX and default reset the Mask2. If you do have any custom coding on the Mask2, then please watch the manual aux in coding with gain adjustment. One of my other videos.

If it connects to the android unit then you need to check the manual how to do it but otherwise aux would have to be installed and coded to the ccc. It can be coded to show Aux in without the aux installed, but there will be no sound as the cable still need to be connected.
