Hey Andy, indeed it will for sure I have been using it now for a few weeks and becoming very familiar with it, completely agree we need to exert patience a hard ask for anything these days 👍

Thanks for sharing this Arch, I watched with great interest as one of these will at some point be on my shopping list (probably when it turns cold again and my Nav6 plays up). Patience and not be a complete technophobe (which I am!) are key! 😂

Great video buddy, I had no idea that there was such a thing, I use the connected ride cradle that takes my phone , I’ll be looking forward to see what you this of this as time goes on

Thanks Biggie mate, I have used it now for about 3 weeks and pretty happy how its performing and getting used to the settings and moving the GPX files around 🙏

Appreciate the video. I’ve been out with mine a couple times on my new RS. Love the display, although maybe I’ll try it locked into day mode next time. The zoom from the wonder wheel takes getting used to. Was able to move the cradle up above the TFT and perfectly center it with the Hornig bracket. No issues except it’s very difficult and somewhat dangerous to learn how to use it while riding. Also I am wondering if there is any advantage to using a SIM card along with or instead of pairing with my iPhone?

Hi there @keweenawbee it is a great question and something I did consider however, until I am convinced the unit can out perform my telephone handling data I feel a mobile phone is superior as this is what it specializes in better antennas and better operating system so I am sticking with pairing for now. I feel that this unit os still in it beginning days and needs further work hence I have it only working on guiding me for now via navigation and not handling any Mobile data

@@archjapanmotovlogs I asked the same question of Scott @nothingtoprove (who has a SIM), his answer was “real time traffic” but super vague.

I feel a mobile phone has far superior data capabilities so by pairing the phone I get my RTT updates already "just say'n" 👍
